The movie ‘Splash’ was a Mermaid movie with Tom Hanks, no John Candy. The Great Outdoors is the movie where him and Dan Akroyd were brothers during a family vacation.

What’s amazing and wonderful is that even today, over 30 years after his passing, the vibrancy and joy for life he displays in his performances have kept him totally alive in my heart and mind. Just check out any of his movies. His gifts still shine throughout the decades.

Can you do a video on hero Confederate colonel Robert A Smith buried in Jackson Mississippi? He was badly wounded at the battle of Munfordville in September 1862. He died some days later. There is a memorial to this brave Reb colonel at the battle site and in Edinburgh Scotland. Both erected by his grieving brother.🏴

Well done, i have wanted to know about the WV state prison by a video like this. I was really young like 10 when i heard about this prison & i was curious because I had a relativel that was a guard there. Dam, that was 60 years ago. I would like to have heard heard her stories about this prison. Going to have to make that a place to go for a tour. Thank you.

The biggest mistake she made was not spending a night to her friends house. She still would’ve been alive and would’ve gone on to be famous had She listened to her friend the night of her murder as a person who grew up in Seattle, Washington, and still living there you do not want to walk alone on the streets there late at night especially in the Capitol Hill area. Seattle has a lot of crazy people. I know I’m from here.

My dad would always crack up when John Candy was on screen. Now that I’m an adult, I can appreciate his the subtlety in his humor. Absolutely brilliant actor.

I worked with a big fat guy. one of my bosses was a rural guy who told it like it was. he said to him one day: 'John, you fat f*ck, you'll be dead in a week if you don't lose some weight' he died later that week of a heart attack. early 40s as well. My boss said he felt really bad about saying it after that.

Rush went national when Bush senior was running against Dukakis I believe in 1988…. I was hooked in Boston from then to his leaving us. Finally we had someone who aligned with our views… plus he knew how to make you laugh! We will see you again Rush when all your fans pass on to eternity also. “ God bless you Rush Limbaugh “.
