Colonial Williamsburg Family Vacation: A Living History Museum

Colonial Williamsburg is an educational and fun family vacation! For our family of 5 with three children 12 and under, this was really great.
We especially loved the hot apple cider and the food and drinks at the King’s Arms Tavern.
The Governor’s Palace and the Magazine Yard were must sees as well!

Being English I can resonate with the ‘colonial’ history portrayed so nicely as well as feel a little disappointed we Red Coats didn’t put up a better fight to keep North America, but hey, as us Brits always say in the face of defeat “you win some you lose some!” 😉🤣
