I live in this area. As children, our school classes did day trips to Williamsburg and Jamestown. We've never stopped being very fond of excursions to these places.

Fantastic video! I like the Palace the best, especially in the evenings in fall/winter. They light lanterns which makes it beautiful and kind of eerie

Personal favorites are the Bruton Parish Church and the George Wythe house. Plus, we had the most amazing docent at The Capitol/House of Burgesses. (2023)

@@arslan_TM it is an actual area as it was. Some buildings were reconstructed while some are actually original and restored as needed

Love it there. We were lucky, the reenactments of the revolutionary war. Old military tents set up. Troops marching. I got some great pictures. Visit it, a great trip.

I went there as a child and I remember a maze made up of hedges. I wonder if it is still there. I think it was behind the governors mansion.

What do you have for handicap people (wheelchair)

Most places are accessible to a degree. The houses do not allow wheelchairs inside but yes to the grounds and the art museums. My mother in law uses a scooter but usually leaves it outside the buildings as she is able to walk short distances. Push wheelchairs can be a challenge as some areas are gravel.
