How much do YOU know about America’s favorite fighting Frenchman? Hear from the General himself about how he defied a king, braved the battlefield, and never wavered in his lifelong fight for equality.

A life spent in the pursuit of Liberty and Freedom is a life well spent. Thank you, Marquis de Lafayette. I can only hope Americans remember your cause and stand up to defend it, as it's needed today more than ever since the American Revolution itself.

I love this man sooo much, both the historical person AND the man who plays him here, Mark Schneider. He's so charismatic and good looking.

You also forgot to mention that GW consider Lafayette as a son . And that he gave the state’s militia their name of The National Guard like what they had in France.

My historical boyfriend, Lafayette. They called him the hero of two worlds but he was truly a hero of all worlds. Amazing man indeed.
