A life spent in the pursuit of Liberty and Freedom is a life well spent. Thank you, Marquis de Lafayette. I can only hope Americans remember your cause and stand up to defend it, as it's needed today more than ever since the American Revolution itself.

We will hos General Lafayette in Bostontge weekend of August 24-25, in collaboration with the Bunker Hill Monument Association, the American Friends of Lafayette and the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Association. Celebtion includes a parade downtown Boston on Saturday and his revisiting Bunker Hill on Sunday at 11:30am. Join us in thanking the Marquis de Lafayette

You also forgot to mention that GW consider Lafayette as a son . And that he gave the state’s militia their name of The National Guard like what they had in France.

One of eight honorary American citizens, bestowed in 2002. WELL DESERVED. He was unique soul and an important player in America independence.
