Yes. I agree. They don't call them practicing for nothing. Think about it. If they don't make money they go out of business. Every couple years I check for blood in my stool or cancer cells. But haven't had a colonoscopy in many years. Have no plans to.

I was working as an RN at a hospital when my best friends mother died right after a colonoscopy........... No cancer, no problem.. just a routine colonoscopy. I'm 59 . never had one. Never will. The NIH also says mammography should be abandoned... that not only do they CAUSE cancer, but as well, they misdiagnose and cause many to have to endure unnecessary treatments that many times end in death. My advice as an RN for almost 15 years: Stay out of the medical system.

@@mcfact1827 Immediately after the procedure, she was very groggy.... they brought her back to a regular hospital room to "recover"..... she never woke up. she passed away that same evening.. My friend who was an LPN at the time and working at that very hospital knew something didn't seem right, but she assumed her mother would wake up. She did not. No autopsy was done, . she was wanting to pursue it further to find out exactly what happened... but she was afraid she would lose her job (this is the way hospitals worked where I was living)... if you were to create an issue, looking to investigate something like this, you would be terminated, and no other hospital in the local area would hire you. My friend believes it was a complication during the procedure that wasn't documented, or either something that went wrong after the procedure possibly internal bleeding. This was about 15 years ago.

I quit going to doctors 15 years ago when mine walked out of the exam room when I refused to get on antidepressants when all I went for was a hormone panel to see which hormones were out of balance because I had all of a sudden gotten very depressed (and I have NEVER had any kind of depression) I was pre menopausal. I did not need anti depressants. Haven’t been back since then. Pulled myself up from my bootstraps and got myself together. Been fine ever since. I believe in law of attraction and the more you go to a doctor the more you will find wrong with you.

This information is so important. I skipped last year's scheduled colonoscopy (I'm 70) after listening to the possible side effects. I requested a stool test instead. Insurance company balked. So I did neither. Soon thereafter I moved to Africa, where I now live and I eat much better. The food is fresh and plentiful (don't believe that all of Africa is starving - it isn't). I eat more fruits and vegetables than I've done since childhood. Just read The Ozarks' post. I skipped the mammogram, too. It is time we woke up to how the medical industry makes money off us while risking our health.

Previous doctors I went to: Requested that I get regular colonoscopy, requested that I get regular mammograms, and prescribed numerous antidepressants. Told me to get regular flu vaccines. After a self exam (Dec 2021) I found a lump in my breast. Medical system dropped the ball many times and after 6 months of waiting I was sent for 7 mammograms, 5 ultrasounds and 3 biopsies which included 3 titanium clips (I said no, they put them in anyway). Next on the agenda was installing a catheter in my chest, 6 rounds of chemotherapy before surgery then hormone therapy for life and possibly radiation. However, before treatment began I was given a tour of the 'therapy' room and I was in shock. Sick people, all hooked up to IV's, while others saw doctors for symptoms/side effects of the drugs. It reminded me of a horror movie. I never went back. I'm treating it holistically/naturally (with outside assistants) my lump is now reduced over 1/2 and I feel great.

Hi Mystic, l did just 9 days of intermittent fasting, 7 days in, l no longer needed round the clock or any at all tylenol for major joint & back pain! Then l went off for a week & half my pain is back & I'm pretty sure the other half is around the ciorner, unless l start fasting. I have been watching dr berg on youtube. THEN, l found dr Mindy Pelz on youtube. A mountain of info. Fasting promotes autophagy, which removes inefficient & diseased cells, which includes caaancer cells. Best of luck.

Mom 77, went for a “routine” colonoscopy. They ruptured her intestines and tried to hide it telling she had a small hole. We laughed in their face and said if she was at home eating, no fever etc she surely didn’t had a hole. Minutes later another doctor came to explain and kind of apologizing, preparing us for the possibility that she might need a bag… Surgery and thank God it wasn’t needed. They took 20 cm of her intestines. Staying away from doctors is now the safe thing to do, unfortunately

Back in 2019, I got schedule to get colonoscopy, but the hospital canceled my appointment because I didn't have anybody to drive me back home. Then I heard my cousin's sister-in-law had to stay in hospital after she got her colonoscopy. He said somehow her intestine kept getting rotten away. They had to keep cutting it off little by little. I stopped thinking to get one after that. That lady died after some months, less than a year.

You must choose your doctor wisely, checking all his/her credentials, patient reviews, and work record. Some are not qualified because of age, drug, alcohol just as in every other occupation. If I had not had a colonoscopy, I would be dead however I had many references, work record and looked at his record to see if any strikes against him---best reference, my brother!.

I HAD COLON CANCER. MY DOCTOR HOUNDED ME FOR ALMOST 10 YEARS AND I REFUSED. GUESS WHAT? IF I HAD GOTTEN IT AT 50, IT WOULD NEVER HAD TURNED INTO CANCER!! MY HUSBAND HAD HIS FIRST AT 60. GUESS WHAT?? If you asked a gastroenterologist that question he would have studies and percentages that would show him wrong. One side of numbers are thrown around to produce fear. Percentages reveal both sides of numbers to give relevance. I feel he has a objective and is dangerous for not seeing and communicating the big picture. If you get a positive cologard test, then you get a colonoscopy and it’s not screening anymore, it’s diagnostic. That means you pay. Cologard gives many false positive.

I had my first colonoscopy at the age of 49. This colonoscopy saved my life. I had 5 polyps, 2 large ones in my rectum, one of which a hemorrhoid was wrapped around the polyp. Since then, I’ve had 4 more colonoscopies. The third colonoscopy that I had, the cells were changing and I was told if I had waited 6-9 months later, I would have had colon cancer. I’m an African American female and I don’t eat fried foods or red meat. I do eat chicken and salmon. And my sister in-law died of colon cancer and lived her entire life in West Africa.

Solution: clean out the colon and keep it clean through plant fiber and lifestyle factors: stress reduction, exercise, water, et al. Remember to use fresh lemon juice with olive oil for salads and steam veggies ( first cold pressed oil. I buy Spanish oil because I know it. ) Not mixes from different countries!) My dad is 96. When he was 88 he was diagnosed with colon cancer that was only found because he went to the ER in extreme pain. At that point it was all still encased in the colon. They took out about a foot of his colon and it had not spread. Didn’t need any sort of other treatment. And we found out it was not hereditary. He had not had a colonoscopy before that for over 10 years. Doctors couldn’t believe what great shape he was in and how well he recovered.

I would say that you're also lucky because you survived the procedure without a problem. I personally know four people who either died or were permanently disabled from a perforated colon from a colonoscopy. That's a lot of people. And each person does have to make their own decisions about their medical care. He's putting information out there that most people will never hear about that's extremely important to know.

( previous to nursing I was a child development specialist & then a social worker home visiting deprived & poor children) ( you can see , my consistent love was for the welfare of “in need “ children,)…. so I put this experience together with my RN ed. to TRULY help children. Now, if you are still with me, the 1st example , the reason for the beginning of my complete astonishment a quitting my dream job. This was a huge and highly respected clinic of about 15-25 pediatricians + many residents. It was connected to a university med school. The nurses were required to falsifying all doctors & residents children’s vax records for ALL forms. They laughed about giving them and pushing them on all patients but that THEIR children would NEVER have even 1 of the “basic” childhood jabs. I thought I had found a sick secret. But no, all the other nurses played along and did falsify all the doc’ kids records. They also did the same for their children’s records while jabbing their patients. I was laughed at by the older nurses and told to wake up. I was sure this MUST BE the only place doing this. I quit and had a horrible time find a different , honest doctor. All were sworn to secrecy. My 8 children have never, ever had one and they have ALWAYS been NEVER sick!! I did research & agreed with the docs…. but not their dishonesty! Only the beginning of the horrors behind the “curtain”! I have a friend who is a vet. Same story , “ none for my dog/cat”! Peds. & vets admitt that the “pokes” are their & butter. Also for the vets in particular….. all the sick animals with destroyed immune systems will eventually be coming back with alllll kinds of ear, skin, coat..problems. $$!$$$$!

Ireland sends people a home test annually or bi-annually.. can't recall which.. Only if blood is found in the stool sample you send back will they schedule a colonoscopy. Both are cost free.

I started out as a registered dietitian in 1982 and my feeling about diet is that a lot of people really don't know how to eat in a healthy way. One of the most important things that we need to do is to avoid as many chemicals as possible in our food supply. Not only is that complicated for some people but it does get to be expensive and time-consuming. One aspect of that is eating produce that is organic. It's not that it's perfect, it's just that it's better than anything else we have access to unless you grow your own fruits and vegetables. Also it's important if you're going to eat poultry and red meat that you get grass-fed, organic. And when you get packaged items it's absolutely essential to read the ingredients and avoid as many preservatives and chemicals as possible. It's very hard to do which means that the average person really has to do a lot of cooking from scratch. These days people often don't have the time or don't know how to cook more than some basics. I think in the case of people who reach the ages of 80 and older, they didn't grow up with a poisoned food supply. My theory is that their bodies had a chance to develop extremely strong immune systems which are able to in many cases deal with the chemicals in their foods today. That makes the most sense to me. I believe that it is the chemicals in our food supply that is the cause of many types of cancers and other diseases. I know that's a general statement. But it's worth considering.

don't know how to cook? All you have to do is get a pan with 2 inches of water, put in it some raw meat, one type of veg, black pepper (and a bit of salt if you must) and simmer for an hour. Cooking does not have to be complex. Keep it simple, it tastes good and honest.

My dad had a non-cancerous polyp grow so big it couldn't be removed. It kept growing until it crowded out other organs and caused his death in his early 70s. Many months of pain. I'm 67 and had the procedure performed with no complications and without sedation or medication. They found and removed 3 non-cancerous polyps. So for me, it feels like I made the right decision. My doctor acted like I was an idiot for wanting to discuss colonoscopy sedation despite the fact that I've been disabled for 12 yrs since my last colonoscopy. They use general sedation these days to give anesthesiologists a piece of the lucrative pie in my opinion. Propofol I think it is and I believe for some reason demerol is M.I.A. these days...which was much safer for the patient. I haven't gone back. I can't take anymore even though my colon hurts. I had my first colonoscopy at 45. I was in agonizing pain, bleeding before the procedure. They removed 3 polyps and spoke of diverticulitis. Since then they have had one in 2011, they found 2 polyps. Then in 2021 where they found 1polyps. They were always benign. Now I'm 67. I don't trust the hospitals in my area so I'm glad to hear your message tonight.

This is really a mindblowing presentation. Like a number of folks here, I knew someone personally who died from perforation - in her case, of the stomach in an endoscopy. I'd like to see some similar evaluative studies there. But the fact that a number of us on this thread personally know someone who died that way is significant enough - and is common-sense statistical confirmation. If 100 people are in a room and 6 of them know a smoker who died of lung cancer, common sense would say that smoking likely causes lung cancer. The studies are great and long overdue, but so is using our own minds - not just blind faith in the health care system. We have more health problems today than ever before, even in the West, where we have access to the highest standard of living. And it's not just people who are sick, it's animals and our pets. The one thing we all have in common is what we put in our mouths and what we breathe in. Dr McDougall shouldn't need to defend himself. It makes a ton of sense. Get used to looking up info in medical journals - I swear, most doctors do not. I was amazed to find that researchers had found a cheap way to stop osteoporosis - read it around 1991 in the New England Journal of Medicine. It's simply taking potassium bicarbonate, which prevents calcium from being leached from your bone in order to neutralize increased acidity in the blood as people age. Would cost you probably $5 a month. Instead docs prescribe very risky and super expensive drugs like fosamax, for hundreds of dollars a pop.

My neighbor, age 50 - went in to have the recommended colonoscopy 12 years ago. The surgeon knicked his colon & within 3 days, he was DEAD! Come to find out - more people DIE from this procedure than are SAVED by it! He left a widow & a 6 year old child they had recently adopted. So SAD.

My brother at 70 yo had his first colonoscopy on the recommendation from his PCP. 18 inches of his colon was found to have cancer. The surgeon removed the infected part of his colon and after 10 years he still cancer free and living well.

My cousin ,was a retired Air Force Col., just died from a colonoscopy that ruptured and pierced something during the process. He knew something went wrong and then took a turn for the worse and it became septic. After a few days it was the infection that killed him at age 72! He was not even sick before this recommended procedure, simply because of his age. Hmmmm……not for me!! Tragic outcome!!! He was buried last week.

I am sorry for you loss. I was pondering whether I should have my recommended colonoscopy at age 50. I worked at a hospital and was in the gift shop and standing in line with my purchase couldn’t help but overhear a nurse in the room telling the gift shop manager how her husband was in ICU due to a perforated colon from his recent endoscopy. That was all I needed to hear to settle my decision to not have the procedure just yet. Maybe the Lord had me walk in there for a reason.

@@lorimcallister1205 , I think you have to walk by faith when you get any procedure done. A very dear friend of mine died because of the doctor piercing his colon. It horrified me at the time. When my doctor told me that he needed to perform an endoscopy on me about five years later, I decided to trust God and have it done. I had been having severe abdominal pain for years. I'm happy that I agreed. I had a very bad ulcer. Everything else was fine. I encouraged my nephew to go when he turned 50 and thank God he came through the procedure. I have had a second procedure because of another severe abdominal problem due to eating seemingly tainted shrimp from a chinese restaurant. Everything was fine. So, you should not be afraid. I believe if and when we are meant to die, it's going to happen, one way or another.🤷

It funny how the universe can intervene to protect one from tragedy. I made appointments for my husband and myself to get our first colonoscopy. I find the Dr's presentation compelling. I find it interesting that in the last few years the medical industry is using the term "customer" much more now than "patient". And I noticed when the Doc was talking abt why they can afford to give you a free colonoscopy the buzz word came up. My cousin died of colon cancer at age 48 twenty one years ago. I was age 45 at the time. My sister was 47. Since then we have gone for routine colonoscopies every 3 years. Most times polyps have been removed. We don't smoke, I don't drink, my diet is good but I do splurge. My mom had lung, breast, colon and ovarian cancer. I will continue getting my colonoscopies, thank you very much.

I own about a dozen related books as well., But in my estimation, cancer screening tools, while not perfect have more benefits than risks. A screening mammography caught my cancer early when it was stage 1, twenty three years ago. So I'm grateful for these tools.

The point is not that you don't get one, but to inform you about the risks. I've had Stage 3 breast cancer. But I've been very Leary of other testing since the 14 procedures I've gone thru already. These are the answers I was looking for. I also have found how beneficial pet scans are, & they are not invasive or dangerous compared to a colonoscopy. Statistics can be misleading, & Dr McDougals' reasoning is sound. Every patient should be given both pros & cons to be sure of their options. Like he says, not all patients are.

My father had cancer spreading into his colon and had a lot of his intentine removed, had a colostomy bag. That was when he was about 75. I am NOT getting a colonoscopy, nope. Too many risks. He died at almost 90 years old as cancer kept spreading. He could have died of sepsis if he had had a colonoscopy long before, how can we tell? So he had a long life, might have had one without having intestines removed, since he actually had no symptoms when they said they had to do that. There are other ways to treat cancers anyway.

So true I became a customer, and now have PTSD from hospitals and dr's and doing my best to get out of the business, because that's not what I dream off being or ever wanting to be in my life, especially when I've done everything to stay away from the whole environment from the medical field, unless in need of recesitation life or death. I'm so close to being free. Dr McDougall is heaven sent. And far few in-between. A good friend of ours collapsed with what was eventually diagnosed with global epilepsy 2 days after a colonoscopy. She’d never had epilepsy in her life up to that point. She’s now had several seizures over the last five years since the colonoscopy which has scuppered her ability to drive. Goodness only knows what they did to her. Worked as an RN on the GI team colonoscopy procedures. Everyday, you would get a patient during the colonoscopy have a blood pressure go dangerously low or a heart rate dropping to a point where the patient is at risk of a cardiac arrest. Respirations and breathing became problematic. Some doctors have poor skills handling the scope and would jam the scope through the colon brutally.

Since then now for two years have nothing than stomach problems just eat for the sake to get nutrients but my life is not enjoyable at all. That’s what scares me even more my woman is already on heart medication hers goes up and down to the extreme they don’t know why and they got her on meds for it to keep it average id say so lately now she’s been pooping blood for the last few months and has a hard time going to the bathroom she’ll go 5 6 days without pooping then stomach hurts really bad super bad where she can barely walk she can’t poop There’s a blockage or something we got to the point where we’ll go to get a colon cleaning once twice a week and we hear that’s not good either and it drains her energy afterwards it’s hot in Vegas so she’s always dehydrated it seem like and we’re from Florida another hot state we had Covid twice last time like a year ago and she hasn’t been right ever since all these problems were scared to do the colonoscopy… we had two appointments in the last 3 weeks and we didn’t go to them because we got scared what if she doesn’t wake up etc any recommendations by chance? Since you’ve been an RN do you have any ideas we just want her to poop regularly naturally if possible I don’t know if she has some kind of blockage or what but it hurts so bad and when she pushes her life away it’ll be a little tiny baby turd and it’s like she’s pushing a baby out mind you eating for 5 days I drop loads an hour after I eat and it just stores inside of her she did take a diet shot in her stomach a couple months back from the doctors and that made stuff worse too they had it in the commercial I keep telling her you had 7 kids I don’t care about your weight this girl took a diet shot and she got sick and all this started happening heart problems after covid a year ago I don’t know anymore I love her so much these problems is sickening

@@blackswan5756 The risk of dying from a colonoscopy is miniscule. I don't know of anyone who has had problems with them. Those at-home stool testing kits you refer to are not very accurate in diagnosing polyps, which can be the start of cancer. They may be an alternative for those at average risk for colon cancer, but colonoscopy is still the gold standard and can catch the cancer much sooner in those with risk factors. If you're afraid of having one, no one is going to force you.

I am in love with this interview, his teachings,his references, his attitude and his beautiful smile. This was a pleasure to watch! I had a scan, and 2 Colonoscopies all within a year....3 different suggestions of findings and 1 was the removal of polyps. 1 was internal hemorrhoids and the scan showed rectal inflammation. Anyway...I never went back to any doctor, not even for the thousandth mammogram....so I totally changed to an high fruit mostly raw veggies ..cooked whole foods once or twice a week. I feel way better!

I know of one woman who died from colonoscopy---not the procedure itself but because it was clean they dismissed her symptoms as IBS and pushed her out the door with anti-depressants. By the time she got another doc to listen to her she had stage4 ovarian cancer and was gone in 6 months. Same with another woman who is fighting stage4 liver cancer. Always amazed to hear the expression routine colonoscopy. Why? There are non invasive stool tests that can be done on the public generally. Colonoscopy should be saved for people who need them eg those whose stool test is abnormal or those who present with other abdominal issues. I know of someone who nearly died after a colonoscopy. Not only was she one of the low statistics that sometimes get a problem but she also had problems convincing the doctor something wasn’t right after the procedure. I think it got to the point when she wasn’t in a fit state and husband had to fight her corner for her. She was suffering badly months afterwards. It’s one thing being injured by a procedure but quite another when the doctor refuses to listen.

I was an Occupational therapist for 25 years. I left the field after recent mandates for covid vaccine. I had also been a patient and had developed more & more health issues over the years while being treated by doctors. I knew I wouldn't see 50 if I didn't get away from allopathy. Thank you Doc. I am a retired RN, 73young and had been refusing colonoscopy. I had an opportunity to work in Endoscopy and assisted this procedure and felt it is not for me. Just the thought of the scope used to patient after patient and soaked in Bactericidal solution each time is not for me. I had stool test when I was 50 y and was repeatedly done last year and remains negative. I always believe that if it not broken, no need to fix it. I try to stay healthy, not taking any maintenance medication so far.

Back in the day I had a colonoscopy, I was on the bed next to an area w a sink and saw this nurse messing w a long hose, looked like a garden hose to me (course I didn't get a good look at it because they post hast shot the juice to me) I have always wondered how or what they use to "clean" the instruments. As a past med assist, medical claims specialist, and personal experience & family experience and now the rona and subsequent jabberwacky. And the current medical system. The less I have to do w all that the better. Have mercy. And don't even get me started on Nursing Homes. My hubby was blessed w 3 nurses that really cared, but all the rest? Oh, my ! A lot of inept and untrained personnel. All of it (bad stuff) is not nessecarily the employees fault by any means but then again they are not all blameless.

This just happened. I was 3 hours from home on a car trip when I stopped for a restroom break, and developed rectal bleeding. Stopped it up as much as possible, turned around and headed home. 3 hours later, my doctors' clinic was too full to see me, referring me to the "urgent care" at the hospital (emergency room). Before anyone saw me--but AFTER I was "registered"--I was told I would be billed for an emergency-room visit. I questioned that as I had been told the diagnosis and treatment would determine which was billed and no one had done either. The answer from the register-er was "We only do what we're told." (which has that familiar ring) When the doctor came, I asked again about whether--really--I was going to be billed for an emergency-room visit BEFORE anyone even looked. I was informed that for rectal bleeding the assumption is 'it's serious' to which then only doctors may attend, as in, 'NOT physicians' assistants.' She promised if it really was "only hemorrhoids" the bill would be for "urgent care." Indeed, that turned out to be the case, BUT--because I had dared to question their little 'system'--I was sent home, with a mere 'urgent-care' bill, WITHOUT any actual "care." The area was not cleaned, nor treated with antiseptic, nor bandaged--to replace the ad hoc one I had made up for the 3-hour trip home. I was essentially told, "No money to be made on you; go treat yourself at home." In fact, I bled again on the way home, but their attitude was, "Hey, his pants are already bloody." I actually prefer my care.

I am a proponent of calling the insurance companies to tell them when a bill should Not be paid. I suggest reading every line of every hospital bill and highlight the suspect billing(s), then let the insurance company fight with the hospital about payment. Over ten years ago a colonoscopy was $13,000… when it was at first it was ordered as a screening. Then while the person under sedation .. polyp removed and it became diagnostic!! Pre cancerous. They are precancerous. Fought the insurance company to the state level of appeal. Won with these facts !

Olestra was the name of the fake oil and I think the potato chips were called WOW! Olestra-the first noncaloric fat replacer appeared as an ingredient in in some of America's favorite snack foods. A label that says 'Olean' will show that a product includes olestra, 'Olean' being the brand name of this gut-wrenching substance. Literally turned people's guts and intestines upside down! I went to a diner-style cafe to have a breakfast that consisted of eggs over easy and country fries (potatoes cut in circles and fried). Yep, you guessed it, they fried them spuds in that Olestra and when I got home, I practically camped out in the bathroom.

My husband was waiting for a heart transplant due to amyloidosis of the left ventricle one of the doctors recommend that he get a vet. I researched it and it was clearly the wrong surgery that he was recommending which wouldn’t have helped my husband at all and could’ve even been dangerous he is now a surviving heart transplant seven years without following that one doctors let’s do another procedure while you’re sitting around waiting for you heart

There’s other risks such as what happened to me when my blood pressure dropped really low right after the procedure then I started vomiting and felt very sick. A nurse commented above who said that a very low blood pressure could bring on a heart attack. I also remember being in a lot of pain during the colonoscopy which isn’t supposed to happen either!

I had put off getting a colonoscopy until about 2 years ago. I finally submitted to getting one. Being a veteran, I get my medical needs met through the V.A. I did the preparation for the procedure and it was hell to go through, but I persevered. When I went in to the hospital, it was during the peak of COVID-19, so there was no bed for me and I wasn't given a sedative because I would've had to stay overnight, but since there was no bed available, that wasn't possible. I decided that I didn't want to have to go through the prep again and just decided to get it over with. The procedure was even worse than the preparation! I was SHEER F-ING HELL!!! NEVER, EVER AGAIN will I get a colonoscopy!!!

I though the VA was better than that, my family has used it often. Your prep was hell? The prep isn’t fun but it certainly is not hell, far from it. I was just hungry. The colonoscopy was nothing, honestly nothing and I get extremely anxious. The doctor was so kind and gentle. It was over before I knew it. No problem. I don’t know what kind of doctors you had.

I did the cologuard and came back positive for blood. I did 3 days of prep, went to outpatient care & after an hour recovered, surgeon told me he removed 7 polyps, testing came back negative for CA. He told me I should have another one in five years. After listening to this video I don’t think so, I’m 73. Edit: to say it took six months for my BM’s to return to normal.

I, too, had a positive cologuard test I have no family history. I had a colonoscopy 6 years ago and was negative. I am scared that if I do not follow through with another colonoscopy that it may be cancer. Scheduled a colonoscopy will be done next month. If negative, I will not have another. ​@Dmarie I spoke with the Cologuard company, and they stated that they just scan for blood. I was positive but I haven't noticed any visible blood. I fired my GP because he coerced me into checking because it's been over 5 years(age 53) since I had my initial Colonoscopy. So that's why I had the cologuard done and I do believe it is a false positive but I not 100% sure. I'm 59. Will be 60 this August.

@@lorirafter76 I know my sister said what if you have internal hemorrhoids, I also never noticed any bleeding. I’d have to think long and hard about going through another one at my age. You’re still young. My neighbor whose in her 50’s had colon cancer twice, I never asked her about it, her granddaughter told me, it’s just something I wouldn’t ask about but I know she had chemotherapy the second time bc she’d lost all her hair. I guess that’s why cancer is called the silent killer, too far gone when they do catch it.

@Dmarie yes, your sister could be right about internal hemorrhoids. I'm just not comfortable taking a chance that I could have polyps or worse. This video really has me worried. I will NEVER have another colonoscopy after what I went through with a colonoscopy I had when I was 60 years old (I’m 75 now).! My blood pressure dropped very low afterwards and I started vomiting and felt really lousy so they kept me in the recovery room for quite a while waiting for me to feel better before releasing me. I finally lied and said I felt better so they would let me go home, as I thought maybe I would feel better once I got home. Luckily I did feel better then. I also remember being in a lot of pain during the procedure which is not supposed to happen either!

Would be nice to know if it worked on that planned, synthetic virus. The reason I call c19 like that. Is because my body could not " read" what was attacking it. Our bodies remember the last illness and we basically know how our illnesses proceed. Nothing about covid was normal! It hit my nervous system with sub fever and slight fever. No runny nose, as normally, no cough, no cycle of prediction, what next. Totally man- tweaked new virus. I have never yet been " inspired" to go do this procedure. I asked for the sample one instead. My mom lived to be 99 without screenings and ate a Scandinavian diet of whole grain bread and potatoes. So I am over 70 myself. Dad died at 90 and 2 other sisters of mine, we are ok. One does all the testing and tells me she is fine. My 79 years old uncle had a colonoscopy done few weeks ago. After waiting for him for more than an hour from the time he should be out, the nurse came out saying “we had a problem to wake him up”

But they said that he needs to come back in few months because they couldn’t see everything for some reason. I hope he will make a proper decision seeing that video.
