Great show. My dad is 94 and is very fit. In fact he has just written a book on fitness:Fit at any age ( Retd Air Marshal P. V. Iyer). Much earlier he wrote a book on safe driving:: Drive and reach your destination. And another on running.: Run and discover your strength. He still drives and I am sure will drive at 100.

Looking forward to this video CHEF AJ. My goal is to get down to a BMI of 18.5 I am at 26.5 now. Glad I do not weight 370 lbs anymore. 212 is not ideal at 6 foot 3 but I am walking more and I will get to 18.5 in a few months. My only advice to your audience who are new is to not cheat on Dr McDougalls diet. It will only slow you down. Thank you again CHEF AJ for all your hard work for helping people to lose weight while keeping the meals delicious.

I workout daily and lift weight 6 days a week, I eat 3 meals a day because if I have to cram everything into 2 meals I get bloated from eating to much. I do eat early though (4pm) since I am in bed early and up early.

Multiple people on both sides of my family lived to 100 or just shy of it, and they all ate like birds. They didn't know it, but they were practicing caloric restriction.

I've noticed with a lot of long term vegan (raw vegans), they don't eat a lot of meals and they don't eat a lot of food. Moderate calorie restriction is linked to longevity. I am working on finding the correct amount of food a day, no snacking in between meals. It definitely takes practice, but you can eat too much even as a plantbased vegan and overeating is not good.

But coffee is bean broth. It has antioxidants.
@MTknitter2211 ай бұрын
@adiposerex5150. Indeed. I have drunk coffee for 40 years. I drink organic espresso and have told myself it’s good for me as reading the top vegan, vegetarian thinkers and scientists yield such disagreement. I have given up all else harmful for a solid PBWF diet. However, now at 70, I do not think it’s healthy anymore. I have no actual side effects or symptoms. It’s just that I had to stop for 6 days. It was awful the first three days of course but after the 6th day, I was aware of a clearness of mind and just a further sense of yes - it is good cleansing my system of all that coffee. A BIG cup every day for decades was a lot of coffee. Anyway I have quit and I have found acceptable and healthy substitute for my morning. Just my humble story!
