Thanks for the story, Lea! Denmark has something similar, called Troldeskoven ie Troll Woods. There are several all over Denmark, lots of pictures when googling Troldeskoven. Nobody knows for sure how those trees ended up growing like that either, but they presume human interference / heavy storms / lack of light and/or food, water during several years / massive insect attack. I ended up in one of them once and it was like walking in a fairy tale. I hope your shoulders get better soon. Happy colouring!

Well I had to give it a google! It's just like a fairy tale forest! I could imagine a whole series of coloring books about these beautiful forests! They are so beautiful in their twisted way, I love how they make us think about how they ended up like that and what led them there and ultimately how beautifully unique and different they are! One day, I guess someone clever will discover the real reason but at the moment I really love the mystery about them! Happy coloring x

I liked the story. I feel like I should live in the crooked forest these days😂 I really hope you start feeling better once you get some help with the shoulder issues. Take care of you. The picture looks vibrant and very beautiful.

Thank you! The crooked forest looks interesting - I'd like to see it in real life but I'm curious why you feel you would like to live there. No need to share if you do not wish to but I hope that everything is okay with you. Shoulder will take 3-6 months according to the Dr but hopefully physio will improve those odds! Happy coloring x

This postcard turned out beautiful with the pastel pencils! They blended beautifully. What an interesting story, my theory is that it was human intervention for either an experiment or business venture that never came to fruition due to the war. So sorry to hear about your shoulder, I hope the physio/injections help.

Thank you! I have to agree - some sort of human intervention was at play here. That's what logic tells me anyway but I do like that there is still a mystery. Maybe in 15 years or so when the latest experiment comes to fruition the mystery may be solved ... although I really like that it is mysterious! Happy coloring x
