haha yes I am Australian. Sadly for Australians it is not as easy to purchase Ohuhu's than other countries but there is the Ohuhu store at Aliexpress so that's an option. I don't have the Ohuhu's but I do have a large range of Copics and some Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. I am still up in the air whether to save up for the Ohuhus or just get refills for the colors I use the most with my Copic sketch markers. The advantage of doing that for me is that Copics are refillable and the refills are easy to purchase in Australia and the nibs are replaceable as well and easy to purchase. Although Ohuhu have some refills now available unfortunately they are not available in Australia :(. There is a larger set of these markers (280 for memory) that I would have liked but unfortunately like most alcohol markers atm the brush tip was all sold out :( I agree they need more purples and really more reds and pinks but hopefully the bigger set has those. I will be coloring a lot from these books as they are so relaxing and I'm nursing an injury atm that makes coloring with pencils painful for me. I can't wait to dive into all of the books that I bought myself for Christmas haha! Happy coloring x

@@coloringqueen that's a shame and a disadvantage as they are very popular and have a large range, I would like to see some colouring videos I think that would be fun and keep you entertained. If you can find it and afford it I think a video similar to this with the 280 markers would be epic, I am sure there is a much larger range! It is good that you have copics to refill, hope you get well soon and the books would be great for relaxing. That's great! I ended up getting them for $55 AUD with the free sign up gift special that they had. I would have liked to get the 280 set but they were all sold out :( They seem really good so far, very juicy! Sorry to hear that Bronze Green has ran out - can you soak the nib in a bit of Isocol - alcohol to reinvigorate it? It's good to hear about the Ohuhu's. Apparently they do have an AliExpress store and the products are genuine there. It's great to know that there's not a lot of difference between quality between brands as the Ohuhu's are just so hard to get a hold of here in Australia :( I'll see how much marker coloring I end up doing - it's really so much easier with my shoulder injury and I might either try and get the bigger set or just replace the faves with copics. @@coloringqueen I tried adding alcohol to the Bronze Green nip, but it resulted in a terrible color and became non-functional. You had a really good deal with this set of markers. I regret not buying a set of 280 instead of the 168 set, and it always shows as sold out whenever I log on to Temu to check.

That's a real shame! The only other things I can suggest is contact the company asking for a replacement/refill or see if there is a similar color in Copic or another set. I hope the elusive bronze green is found. Happy coloring x

They have been sold out now for about a month :( Every time I click they are not available. I've tried to find them at other places but they don't have the large sets or are sold out. I will keep checking though because they were pretty good value for the brush markers. I'm not sure if it is possible/or you tried but often you can take the whole insides out (usually the length of the marker not the nib) soak it in alcohol for 24 hours and then reinsert. If it doesn't have the inner barrel sometimes you can remove the nib and drop some alcohol in there. It may be though that none of that works and the only option is to get a replacement/refill or similar color from another brand. I hope that something works out for you. Happy coloring x

It's so good that there is a range of markers in different price brackets and sizes to suit all colorists. I really love that these were available in brush tips and I'm impressed so far with how well they perform. I would have liked to see more reds/purples but perhaps the larger set (out of stock atm) has those. Happy coloring x

@ I’m not into alcohol markers but I’m realy trying so for me they are actually perfect

They are great for quicker coloring and if you use Express Blend it card rather than coloring book paper you can get some amazing effects and blends with them. I like using them at the moment because I'm injured and colored pencils are hard work haha! Glad you are enjoying this medium. Happy coloring x

are you able to flip the nib around? i also got like 10 replacement nibs with my set.

@jyemichael I haven't checked. I know I didn't get replacement nibs.

@ give them a swap around see what happens and I just counted there was 5 and they are just loose in the bottom of the bag lol

aww that sucks :(. Did you contact them for replacement or at least replacement nibs?. I was eyeing the skin tone set as it has pretty colors but I would be really upset if the brush frayed quickly. My spectrum noir markers have a lot of frayed brushes which is really disappointing.

are they the acrylic ones or?

I have seen them but I haven't purchased them. I believe they are acrylic markers (like Posca) so they should not bleed. They would be great for adding highlights (depending on nib size) over alcohol markers like yellow/white/pink especially on the bold and easy style books. I have purchased some acrylic markers recently to do my color by number books haha. I like the fact that the marker covers up the number!

Thank you Deborah! We are lucky that we have very few people to buy for ...well really each other and the pets and quite frankly that's enough! The hype in the shops is OTT and you can see how people are just being conditioned to want more stuff each year and then are disappointed if their expectations are not met. Often people forget about enjoying the day with the people they love as they focus more on the "stuff". I'm feeling a bit jaded today haha. You have the good stuff! I've tried to buy the Ohuhu but they seem to be sold out everywhere and the Caliart seem to be hard to find as well (very difficult in Australia :( ). I bought some cheap ones from Temu but didn't like them so returned them ...not to give up I've bought another set and I'm waiting in anticipation haha! This is such a cute book as is the second in the series and I can't wait to have some more markers to play with! Happy coloring x

lol ...actually the last Christmas here in the sub tropics it actually rained all day. We took advantage of the cooler weather and had a roast ...it was yummy! This year it's predicted to be hot so it's by the pool and probably mostly cold Christmas stuff. I'd love a white Christmas and the only time I ever came close to that was when I lived in London....not snowing but pretty cold haha! ikr ...I won't tell you how much it cost to ship to Australia :(. Plus the wait :(. Luckily I've been putting money aside for a while now in anticipation of its release but I've got to say ...I was still shell shocked and tossing and turning on the price. I'm getting a refund on the markers I bought but not to be discouraged I bought a cheap set from Temu haha. They haven't arrived yet but I'll be interested in what they are like. I can always return them if they aren't up to scratch ...but they do have good reviews so we'll see. Sounds like you have a perfect Christmas day routine plus I would def need the a/c at 43!!!!. I've got some new coloring books from Santa and hopefully some markers will arrive ...so I'll be doing the same! @@coloringqueenI will be really interested to see what markers you buy as I only used pencils and am a bit uncertain of markers

Luckily Millie has been around for a long time and there are oodles of completed pages on Pinterest and IG where you can get ideas of different mediums/products that you can use on her books. As the pages are double sided, alcohol markers will bleed through the pages. If you used water based markers - like Tombow for example or gel pens then you should not have a problem. However test on a spare page in the book first to ensure no bleed through and check out what other users have used. Happy coloring x

Hi, I checked out Hinkler's site and the books online. I do not believe that they are Anne Stokes work at all. I cannot see any artist credited on the book information or on Hinkler's site. In their "about" section they do say that they have a "vast bank of copyright-owned content". This causes me to believe that they have acquired rights to either stock content, public domain content or work for hire content. Unfortunately, I cannot find any further information to assist you. If you are in Australia .. these books and Anne Stokes books come up sometimes at Aldi, Big W or the Australia Post shops for sale. I hope you enjoy coloring the books. It looks like they have some lovely pictures in them. Happy coloring x

ikr ..I keep saying fairy penguins because that is what I grew up with....I'm also guilty of saying koala bears too lol! We've had Christmas in July when we lived in Sydney - it was great nice and cozy! Next year I think we will reintroduce it to enjoy in the couple of weeks Queensland is cold!!! I'm going to make a gingerbread house that hopefully won't have a sagging roof because of the humidity haha! Merry Christmas and Happy coloring x
