Thank you so much for this video! I have not been able to find great information on the process when it comes to firearms. What's funny is, I'm currently attempting to give my CZ Shadow 2 Orange a mirror finish and I was wondering what it would look like with a color case hardening. This video literally answered it a minute after I had the thought.

Was this done by using just wood charcoal, or was there bone charcoal mixed in the carburising mix ?

Not a huge fan of CCH, but when it comes out nice it's pretty. Most looks better as a coin finish IMO. Very interesting to watch a master in action though!
