I've said this before in other videos but there is immeasurable value in KZbinrs demonstrating that they make mistakes, and that mistakes are no big deal (and often funny). There are beginner artists who are nervous to try things. They watch all your earlier, amazing results and then suddenly there's a mistake and they can go 'Oh cool, he messes up too, just like I did.' and they might be encouraged to keep going. Especially when you show how you fixed it. Good job :)

That's the reason I was surprised when I found Bony Matter instead of Pallid Bone in Mega set... one of my first purchases to improve versatility of my palette

Must be coz I did not apply matte varnish before applying the Liquitex Sepia ink?

I'm not sure. I am still a novice painter. I watch KZbin to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Which is quite a lot.

@@ribbitribbit4707 I will test again in another video. Cheers! 😊

What happened with the ink was that it got reactivated by the speedpaints. Has happened to me a lot. When you spray inks through an airbrush, the layers are very thin and easily reactivate with certain mediums or even water. To fix it you can either varnish on top of the ink before applying the speedpaints, or what saves a bit of time is to simply mix your varnish into the ink. That way the ink becomes a lot sturdier and won't reactivate when exposed to the speedpaints. Took a long time before I figured this out and I had quite a lot of miniatures where I was pulling off strings of white ink while trying to speedpaint.

Nope… the white spots happened before the speedpaints. It was Game Ink then Liquitex Sepia ink. Was that not clear in the first part of the video? 😬
