The medium almond was SUPER long on me and my niece. Idk what kind of nail beds you have, but wow they must be long! I do love the kit, though. I am just hoping for an even shorter length, and some smaller sizes. The smallest size is still huge for my pinkie nails.

I've usually heard that design just called a Frame. I absolutely love this design! It's right on trend right now. But for this design your shaping has to be absolutely on point or it's very obvious. These tips would be very handy for that, I imagine. Edit; just checked another KZbin nail channel that did this design recently and they call it an Edge design. So idk. It's awesome no matter what you call it though!

I've been using these on a client for a couple of months. Great adhesion (she's very rough on nails). I've noticed I must file, not just buff the surface to apply hard gel color or it pops off after a few days. Hope that helps someone. This set turned out beautiful. Thanks so much for the video.

@@aislinnkaye4860 the gel color popped right off the enhancement. Easy fix...roughed up with 180 grit file (instead of buffer as originally did) reapplied color. Just make sure if using HARD gel to file top of nail enhancement with 180 file not buffer.

I put these on my niece (who is kinda rough on her hands) and they lasted almost 5 weeks before she picked and peeled them off! She really ruined her nail beds because they were adhered so well (I was so mad at her for doing that!). I have them on my thumbs and it's been 3 weeks so far and they aren't going anywhere. I have them filed down a bit shorter so they seem really sturdy. I think it has everything to do with prep and nail size if ppl are popping them off. I personally think they're great. I hope that info helps you 😊

It's weird isn't it, like the nails are magnets for fuzz. I use lint free pads, and I do my nails in a room without carpet etc and yet, fluff and fuzz still find my nails lol 😂 Anyways, another beautiful design Anastasia xxx

These are gorgeous! I believe this design is called a French Frame, or French Outline. I’m definitely going to look into this kit. I’m very disappointed in the shipping times from EnailCouture. People are waiting 2-3 months for their orders. I can’t wait that long, especially when I’m ordering supplies for my business. I agree, I ordered for the first time from EnailCouture and oh wow, I really had to wait for my order!! I ordered in May and barely received my stuff yesterday. Yes they products are very good quality and their prices are very competitive but oh boy, the wait time really killed it. Hey Ana! Can you answer a question for me? I’ve been doing my own polygel for quite a while but I didn’t keep up on my fills ... which led to a lot of lifting. Unfortunately after several months my thumb nail got some damage. I peeled off the polygel - I know... terrible. But now the corner of my nail is quite sensitive and even heat sensitivity. Do you think I should put a small layer of polygel over it again for stability or should I stop using all products and let my natural nails recover? I have already thin sensitive nails... I think I went overboard filing.

HELP!! Everytime I use these Kiara Sky Nail kit, they pop off after a day or two, and theyre so weak, how do I make them stick and last?

I find the prep is super important. If you have followed all the steps buffing the natural nail then using the primer, prep and buffing the inside of the tip and you're still having adhesion issues, I would focus on the base coat of gel and the amount of gel you're applying to the underside of the tip. Too little and they'll pop off, too much and you'll have spillage and lifting. I usually add 2-3 coats of builder gel on top of the tip to add strength. Hope this helps!

It may be that you have an oily nail plate, if you have a hamdsoap that has oils in it it can cause issues. Wiping the nail plate with acetone helps remove oil residue. Any air bubbles can create a pocket that breeds moisture and it can pop your nails off. Make sure you're prepping properly. I used to just use a nail dehydrator and I had so much lifting and popping off. I now use dehydrator as well as a nail prep liquid. The two are not the same and both are equally important. Most nail kits do not provide the nail prep. Buffing the shine off the nail is important. Also, if you ever have a natural nail peeking out then it will cause lifting. If you're doing everything right and still have popping, then it may just be a naturally oily nail bed. If you have oily skin it is common.

No, they come with a built in apex. They're a sculpted gel nail that you attach like a false nail. But they look better than plastic full cover nails because of the built in apex.

I don't recommend looking for these on amazon, they are $179 through 3rd party sellers. Waaaayyy too much for 1 set of nails. Going to try the 1, 2, 3 go nails for $10 that get's you 10 sets of nails. so hmmm $179 for 1 set, or $1 for the same set that's probably made by the same place in Asia.
