What grit sandpaper do you gotta use for the front plastics when you paint

It's best practice to use a scuffing pad (red is OK for textured, Grey for smooth) by hand, preferably along with a scuffing paste. It varies also by the manufactures of the coatings to be applied.

How did it go painting over chrome? Did it ever peel later?

Just painted the plastics no chrome. Have had good results painting over chrome using etching primer first.

I say if you want to paint the chrome you have the use sand paper first to get the paint to stick on it bro
