Lovely video! I cannot see why people leave mean comments, if they don’t like the video just turn it off. No need to give a thumbs down or a nasty comment. Just my opinion. I have been going through your video library and I am enjoying and I am learning at the same time. I really like your enthusiasm and excitement for your coloring. I like the longer videos, but I am happy with whatever you do.

You carry on doing what you're doing Pamela, your videos are always so inspirational, I enjoy your chat, especially when you say y'all, not a word we have in Scotland, just love it. Folk who criticise are not worth bothering about, especially if it's not constructive, they are everywhere in all walks of life. I find often I'm in the kitchen cooking and watching, and if something catches my eye, I go back and make a note of it. Keep being yourself 💖

I hope you see this comment. Long videos with useful commentary are fantastic. Your commentary is useful. I’m always looking for tutorials where the colorist explains the “why”. Understanding the why is how I learn. Don’t let the haters discourage you ever! Reference Olivier Odorant. Her videos are long (3 hours) and I follow her faithfully because she is amazing and is willing to share her knowledge freely. Cheers!

People can be very cruel in the comments. That ability to feel anonymous and that there isn't someone with feelings on the other end seems to be prominent on social media when you aren't attached to real-life friends and family. You are doing the common thing to deal with people like that. Especially rude people could and should be blocked. Since you've done lives, I'm sure you know trolls can pop up in there as well. Often, people enlist either real-life friends or big supporters of their channel to monitor the chat. They have the ability to boot trolls, plus they can answer questions or grab links that are requested. They keep the chat civil while you demonstrate whatever the video is about. It can be very handy and allow you to concentrate!! This is an awesome video. 🤗 I love how your picture is coming along, and that pallette is gorgeous!! 😍💚💜💙

It's so funny, I never had a heavy hand. I would get frustrated with other kids who pushed hard with their crayons and laid down a thick, waxy layer. Instead, I have had to learn to keep adding layers with colored pencils to get a nice bright color. The first couple of pages I colored, I did not do enough layers and/or heavy enough hand that they ended up looking very soft/pastel. Sometimes I like that look, but if I am using brightly colored pencils, I want to make sure I am getting that bright color. :-)

It's a very small few...probably two-three comments in all the time I've been on KZbin. That is great compared to what some KZbinrs probably deal with. I'll take it! With all the wonderful, supportive subscribers/viewers I have here, it far far outweighs the couple that leave comments like that. The color catalogs are wonderful. You will love them. Using palettes really helps me to choose my colors for my pages. Happy Coloring.

My nieces daughter is having some issues so I have ordered her a set of these pencils and one of the nice btsky cases. Hopefully it will give her something positive to focus on. Was going to buy them for myself but figured I'd do the decent thing and get her some!

I’m so happy!!! My set came in yesterday. I’ve finished sharpening them - aided by my 4-yr-old grandson. I love the Dahl 133 because I can let him “help” because he can’t over sharpen! So now I need to watch Part 1 again for the color family order. But I’m gonna watch this now anyway! Pamela, thank you so, so much!

Color catalog is amazing and the companion saves days and days of turmoil and indecision. Love it. Thank you for showing how it works. Never would have dared even to try it from on line recommendations. Use it on my laptop and downloading it is so simple. Thank you.

You may have already mentioned this but how do you know which yellow, red & blue are true primary colors? AND I hear artists mention there are warm & cool categories...so are there two sets of the primary colors (that you can mix to get close to the secondary colors expected?) Thank you Sarah!

Too many pencils 😱😱😱😱😱😱 never!!!! 🤣🤣 though I know what you mean as there are so many options and I confess to a few mistakes on purchasing but my advice is find a big empty cupboard in your house and you will still fill it👍
