Thank you, Donna! I wore that hoodie because I got lazy, but it turned out to be really nice with the wig color, I think.

Thank you, Jean. I was going to change my top, then realized that this color looked pretty good with the red hoodie. Take care!

Thanks, Rachel. Does the color in the video appear on target? I waited until after 4 p.m. to do it so not far before sunset, supposedly some of the best light for this.

Thank you so much for clarifying the color of this and others *I am fairly new to wigs and toppers and although I have purchased a number of them it really is trial and error -roots are just not doing it for me- I am wanting platinum blonde -ash -no rooting - thank you again for taking the time in presenting your videos!

It's not easy to find the light blondes with no rooting. Have you seen the Belle Tress Coconut Silver Blonde? I'm not sure if you'd consider it platinum or not. Some tend toward golden tones, but this one is very ashy, I think, though I have not seen it in person, way too light for me. It's definitely ashier than the color I'm wearing in this video. Glad to help, Lisa, thanks for your comment!

Thanks for showing this color. I might could wear it. I can take cool, but I have to be very careful to avoid anything drab. I wonder what it looks like next to Martini?
@frontporchwigchat62602 жыл бұрын
I put a photo of the January in Martini up there. I wanted to bring the other one out, but I'm not at full capacity and was under the gun to get the video done before the sun set. I will say next to Martini or even Palm Springs Blonde, it will appear to have a bit more warmth, but that is not true warmth as it is only a #22 is a light ash blonde and the #16 is either a dark neutral or even honey blonde, depending on what interpretation you read. You don't get into the golden tones until about 24 and up. It is definitely not drab, I can tell you that much! It is brighter than Martini, which is almost muted/soft toned.

@@frontporchwigchat6260 Thanks. That is what I was seeing. I love the look of Martini, but I am pretty sure it would not look good on me. But this one might. Thank so much for taking the time to answer.

@@tassey Of course! Unless I just don't see a comment, which can happen with KZbin's spotty notifications, I usually either heart it to show I saw it or reply. I'm here to help in whatever way I can. Let me know if you do get this shade and how you like it, Margaret.

I don't understand why some manufacturers do that darker-at-the-nape thing. Does anyone's natural color grow that way? I ordered Kendall from Henry Margu in an ash blonde color and was so excited to get it until I discovered it was brown, like a #8, at the nape! No one in the world would believe that color grew out of my pale head. 😄 I had to call the supplier to make sure there wasn't a manufacturing mistake and they assured me that blonde comes with a dark brown nape. There was nothing about that in the description. Back it went! What on earth... Now I am saving for a Kendall from Jon Renau and I REALLY hope it doesn't come with a dark nape, too. I hope your leg is getting better every day! 🦵💪

Actually, my own natural bio hair is much, much darker at the nape. It's literally almost two different colors, still dark blonde with some gray on top and sides and pretty much light brown at the nape. There are of course, the bayalage colors, but those are extremes, not meant to appear natural, not just slightly darker at the nape, but pretty much two-toned. If you see an "F" in the color code, it can mean there is a darker nape, so just be aware of that. If you get Martini, 101F48T, it does have a slightly darker nape, for example, but only slightly. It is not on all colors, just some. If you're not sure, just call and ask the retailer about the shade. Or ask me and if I know, I'll tell you. 🙂 What color HM Kendall did you get?

One wig retailer has this color listed as Black tie blonde.

Yes, I've seen that, too. They can't seem to settle on a color name for this one! Whatever they call it, it's a pretty non rooted blonde.
