Do DPs white balance to the same standard (I.e. white card) for each scene? It works great in daylight setting but if you’re under tungsten then your yellow light turns white.

can somebody explain me before my brain melt? mkay.. temperature of our sun measures ~5 778 K. The Wolf-Rayet star WR102 measures ~210,000 K. The WR102 are around 35 times hotter then our sun... so..? Who are using poor Kelvin backwards, the star people or the lighting people?

They are both correct. The “lighting people” use lights that produce a color generated by a black body radiator at cooler temperatures than the Wolf-Rayet star.

Sometimes mind trick us, for example color of that famous dress, someone see white and gold, others see black and blue , en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_dress , btw I like your channel and breakdowns
