I think virtually any adventure bike will do. I saw everything from 400's to two-up 1200GS riders. I had one spot I could not ride but it was very crowded and I got frustrated with loose shale. There are definite sections for sand, but never for too long. All in all, the riding is challenging enough to keep you on your toes, but never dangerous. Get the GPS tracks, as the map is too small to make big decisions easily. Its a great adventure!

Thanks for sharing! Great video and good music to boot. I live in Colorado Springs and ride a V Strom 650...Did you happen to see any on the trail? Anything too technical for a Storm in your Opinion? I would love to do this same loop any advise would be greatly appreciated! :) Liked and subscribed.
