Yes I have to agree! My GGGrandfather started a Ranch in SW COLORADO after surviving Civil War, GGrandfather then had Ranch, then Grandfather also, Then my Dad survived being a Marine in S Pacific war, and decided to homestead in Alaska where I was born. But Colorado much warmer, and I am hooked on Red Rock 🤣👍👍👍

I live in Phoenix, AZ. This is the first year i haven't gone to Colorado. Mainly due to covid19. This video might of inspired me to take the drive before the years over. Love southwestern Colorado. Greetings from beautiful Switzerland. I grew up in America in the 60s, 70s and 80s. I lived in New Jersey, Idaho, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maine, Colorado, Oregon, Colorado again, Washington state and finally California. 31 years here now, longer than my USA time. I must honestly say that Colorado was my favorite state. I am a mountain guy, after Breckenridge and Telluride. Telluride was called Little Switzerland, we even had the Matterhorn on the wall in our classroom. If I was to go back, Colorado is on my mind.

@@TheWorldTravelGuy Because of my road journeys growing up, I am somehow addicted to getting out and discovering things. Here in Switzerland there are 4 official languages and so much changes just driving for an hour or so. I know every canton and I am always on the go, sucking things in nonstop. I speak Swiss German and in the Italian and French speaking regions, English is simply fine for me. Enjoy it when you come and the trains will get you everywhere if you don`t rent a car.

I have always wanted to visit Colorado . JD is my all time favorite artist , both for his music and a shared love for the mountains and the environment. I have been to Colorado all of my life. As a kid my Uncle would take 6 of us up to his 2 story cabin in Creed (former mining town), and say be back by dark! Now with 3 children and 6 grandchildren we have had unbelievable exploring and snow skiing in every ski town in Colorado. My wife and I even rented a home in Colorado Springs for two years( we live in Frisco, Tx.). Colorado is a permanent vacation of peace beauty excitement and exploration!
