It was a weekday sometime in late June 2017. I couldn't find an exact date in my records but know I was in Woodland Park area on Monday, June 19th of that year

@@cupcakemcgee3175 You have to go 3+ hours from the front range. We saw a lot of empty campsites along the Conejos River the week before July 4th. Some of the more remote campgrounds only had a couple of campers. Trappers Lake up by Meeker was similar last summer. It's 50 miles from nearest gas and groceries which scares away the amateurs.

@@CampgroundRecon yep I hear ya. I like to be alone or somewhat alone. It used to be nice to just go an hr and be alone camping. Like you said 3-4 hrs now to be away from everyone.
