You’re so right. The water just has a way of working out all of your muscles. Kudos to you being a competitive swimmer. I’m a 56 year old US Army combat veteran. I didn’t learn how to swim until I got into the US Army at age 18. I fell in love with the water. Travis Hunter is a natural at anything he does.

Some would even say it goes back to slavery and Black folks fear of large bodies of water from trauma during the slave trade voyages. I grew up in the 90s and even then I remember getting kicked out of a public pool by a white lady who didn't want me in the pool with her white kids. Now days the younger generations of Black folks are able to learn to swim at an early age, but that wasn't the case for older generations.
