This is one engaged parent. I love it!!! She nailed the conversation about freshmen transitioning to college. Even outside of athletics. It's TOUGH. My daughter failed miserably her freshman year and she'll spend the rest of her time recovering from it. I feel terribly for and I feel like i let her down to some degree. For those of you with children heading to college for the first time, STAY ENGAGED!

Wow, a lot of times I've been really impressed by Coach Prime and the men on his staff. HOWEVER, now I know the secret sauce. These men have women who have their own identities.. They marry grown, accomplished, Gorgeous Godfearing women. Women who are mothers, smart, and highly skilled in their gifts and talents. Real ladies.🎉❤ I Love this!!

Mrs. Mathis was a tremendous interview! it was great to get to know one of the players I root for parents' speak on them. when she reveals that Caleb was quite the little nifty soccer player that was hilarious. Also, I am pleased that other married coaches wives have a group for support and beyond. All around this was a terrific idea to interview her, it was a success! great job chico from where I sit 👊👍

Great interview! Parent-child engagement is very important, and that relationship starts at a young age. 17/18 year olds need that push and to know that they are cared about during the pivotal freshman year. The student-athlete may be annoyed by the codling, as they reflect as adults, the appreciation and understanding will be there. My momma, yes I still call her that as a 44 year old, was the same as Mrs. Mathis and that built a bond lives on today.
