That could well be a moot point Ben. The song was possibly written by Red Sovine and maybe it was originally sung by Mr Lyttle (Johnny PayCheck) Maybe it's a bit like Mel Tillis and Ruby .don't take your love to town, or Kris K 's Sunday Morning Coming down.
