Im 55, Been hunting for since i got my first hunting weapon @14 I hunt for food,all around year,from birds to rabbits to deers and moose,still using my 70 year old shogun drilling 12/70 with 6.5x55 underbarrel, only other weapon i still have is my long barrel 16-cauge for birds(top tree birds) I do carry 44 snubby as backup. Never needed "30-round magazine clips" neither i dont need AR to hunt food to the table I shot, one kill But , never allow these idiots to make your guns away, they tried it here in Finland and now its just pain in a*s to even keep your license(i have to renew my "hunting licence" for every few years, thats just a shooting test but still)...not to mention you need also separate licence for buying ammo... Also its almist impossible now to get license for handguns, luckily semi-autos and bolt locks are still somewhat easy to get. Greetings from 🇫🇮

You’re correct. I should not use words I encourage others not to use. It was an easy way to get the message across, but moving forward I’ll refer to this as a “semi-auto firearm ban” bill since it aims to ban many times of firearms that don’t require manually reloading of a rifle, shotgun or gas operated platforms. Unfortunately, I don’t have much time to redo this video but I’ll bring this up in a future video. Appreciate the comment!

@@keithlewis7520 because regardless of that fact, LEO exemptions are one of the main ways these laws actually get passed. While I would like to believe most LEO and Mil would put the Constitution above their individual privileges afforded by LEO/Active/Veteran status, and not accept a clearly unconstitutional bill just because they get a pass. Unfortunately, this isn't usually how it goes. LEO exemptions are basically required to get support of the local PBAs and Police unions. It creates a two-tiered legal system. It's great most CO cops won't enforce the mag ban for example, problem is the state can still just get you for it any time they want. None of these are real solutions. LEO are just citizens and should have no rights above their neighbors.

I’ve been to Colorado to help put out their wildland fires multiple times mostly in the national forest. I see vast open high desert , mountains and forests. To me it screams fishing and hunting, hiking and skiing along with other outdoor activities and adventures. Who are the people that demand that no one should own any type of firearm? It is so important to own one that it is the 2nd amendment not the 27th. Number 1 amendment is free speech will they take that away as well. @@dragonmans7242we just had most semi autos banned in Canada after multiple bills very similar to this one (except no voting was required to pass them cause our gov’t is basically commie lite). These “military-style assault weapons” they recently banned (3rd major ban within the last few years) include a GSG-22 .22LR plinker, and the Ruger PC 9mm carbine. Clearly weapons of war 😂. Anyway, they really are coming for all semi autos and we’re the example. We’ve been fighting like hell and are thankful to organizations such as the CCFR for doing similar work to what you’re doing, but it’s been one hell of a frustrating legal battle - worst thing is our gun laws are federal, so we can’t go to another province, nor do we have a constitution to protect them from making laws that should not be legal to make in the first place. We’re basically stuck with a bunch of our firearms rusting in our cabinets while they’re in a legal limbo (nobody is surrendering their guns lol) until the October election, in which the conservative gov’t is gonna win and *hopefully* reverse these bans. My kids mother had a friend that was shot there and lost his leg. We are both well aware that anyone with $2500 cash can pick up a AR with no background check, or buying from a FFL. These gun laws do nothing except hurt law abiding citizens. What a slap in the face if you’re a military family.

I left Colorado in 2021 and moved to Texas. I want to move back and retire in Teller county. All news out of Colorado is more depressing than the last. I will continue to monitor this madness in the front range. This will have to go to the supreme court and it will take 10 years. Brutal.

Kudos for linking the actual legislature that you are talking about. Gun Control going back to the old method of banning any realistic weapon. Banning any semi automatic with a detachable magazine pretty much eliminates anything except really old firearms with a loadable magazine, some of the pistols such as the Broomhandle Mauser. Stripper clips are almost as fast and reliable as a magazine, just different. We wouldn't have won WWII without the M1 Garand rifle.

Needs to be a 2A organization that bands businesses, Americans, and the like in support of 2A and stops nonsense like this ban from happening. Incentivizing proper gun ownership and use is the way to go and not attempting to restrict 2A. Public shootings are less likely to happen if would be shooters are paranoid that everyone around them is carrying. Anti-2A laws only hurt lawful citizens, not criminals!

The best case scenario is that under the Trump admin the DOJ will pull federal grants due to noncompliance with federal immigration law, mitigating any potential enforcement due to budget shortfalls. Also McDonald and Bruen basically would act as a road block after the fact. It would be lucky to make it past the 10th Circuit.

I love Dragonman so much. I’ve been a patron there off and on since the 90s, and even though I have moved away, I will always have a soft spot for them. When Dragon Man himself found out that I was about to leave for basic training, he took me on a personal tour of his museum and collection. I will never forget that. And none of you Colorado, should ever forget that at one point you were free, and at one point enough of you got together to unseat multiple legislators over gun control. You need to get out from under the thumb of your corrupt, Republican Party, overcome your apathy, And pull together and get this done. Get a real Maga movement going, Colorado edition!
