For areas that need rain (or areas that don’t and it can be used as a flooding weapon), but if there are clouds, but not heavy enough heavy content….a very small plane releases silver iodide, into the few clouds, somehow it changes composition and rain starts a-falling. As with most things man will use things for good or evil. (Or search the net for better explanation…I bet I get beat up for this by scientists or nerds…but I tried). Cheers

Just moved here from California and yes I notice they paint the skies just as much here as in California. Yes I notice they do it for days and days then a really bad storm comes in or it is nice in the morning then by mid afternoon dark clouds then rain and sometimes thunderstorms we had pea size hail last week or the week before nothing like Denver though.

Thousand upon thousands of cows get hailed on all the time because they are in open fields. It's irritating but not life threatening in any way to a horse or a cow. Should you put your pets inside, including horses, when there is going to be bad weather? Sure. But you can't shelter 3000 cows in a field.

I live in Denver and have not seen or heard of any of this. We had rain but not hail. It's been sunny and warm here. We have freinds that live in Boulder and other places but they haven't heard of any of this either. This is a lie. Dont know where they got the footage from but it wasnt from here. It was 80 degrees May 3O and 79 the 31. Just 8 days ago.

Denver has undergone MANY storms through the years. Many claim animals NEED protection from such storms. What happened in the late 1800's when cattle movers faced storms just like this? How does one house thousands of bodies that each weigh over 1000 lbs? Work thorough that reasoning for the rest of the USA and tell me, would you house them all as hail destroys your well built structures? Wind of over 60mph is NORMAL through that corridor. Add 30 or 40 mph in a bad storm....what then? What happens when a Veritas windmill comes crashing down on your structure? The wind turbines each span 3 railroad cars! Seriously? House and protect animals while you are running for cover after a beautiful sunny day had hail sweep in unexpectedly? Ask the kids at 6 Flags who were stuck in storms years ago, trapped and unable to protect themselves. Logic people. Apply logic to the angry rants regarding your superior ideas. Compassion is a wonderful thing. Mindless anger at impossible tragedy is its opposite. Be kind and be helpful to people with animals that are affected by storms everywhere. They love their animals.

What do you propose? Denver is a hail capitol of the world and has been for ages. Storms have altered entire settling communities in the 1800's. Will you house thousands of animals in what, concrete bunkers? What about chickens, dogs, cats? Are small animals part of the housing plan? People think this is new. A history major at Metro can explain how very inaccurate that thought is. Storms are a way of life at the base of the mountains, in the mountains, and on the Prarie land near Kansas. A blizzard can take out entire King Soopers buildings!
