Man, when Buffs struggle, always starts with tackling. Same story with KSU. Such a frustrating game to watch… Hats off to Kansas. Though a couple of those late hits on Shedeur had malice behind them. That was fucked up

So was Shilo and others targeting.. dont forget Shadeur pushing a ref !!!
@maseman50009 сағат бұрын
@ ref deserved a helluva lot more than that. Kansas doing just jitsu on the ground with Shedeur… but I have never seen such an egregious shot to end someone’s career than that late and low hit on Shedeur’s knees. And both times no flag, classic anti Shedeur hate…. Shilo can go suck a dick. I was rooting for him to get kicked out, cuz we know Prime ain’t taking out his son. but that wasn’t targeting, sadly. All shoulder

Dude Kansas was in the red zone at the 3rd or 4th yard line and they at least 3 times and came out with a field goals. They would have blown the doors off of Colorado. Saying if Colorado was on the field more that is straight garbage. If doesn't win football games because we don't know if they would have scored.
@johnlee708516 сағат бұрын
Definitely. KUs D stopped CU and the KU O was basically unstoppable. Yes, with more possessions they would have scored more points, but having more possessions means your getting takeaways, which didn’t happen, or KU also gets more possessions, which means more points for KU.

Our LBs can not pass cover.I mean we had walker, a pass rusher, playing middle LB and getting cooked. Thats why we have the extra DB on the field and we missed preston hodge ability to run tackle. Our front seven plus the safeties are all downhill players/tacklers, not sideline to sideline lateral players. So when we play a RB/QB who's shifty with great balance, if we don't meet them in the backfield, we always struggle with tackling.
@johnlee708515 сағат бұрын
I think some credit should go to the KU DBs as a whole. There was a lot of talk last week about there are so many receivers. It’s not just Travis. 4-45 & 5-44 aren’t bad stats - they’re good, just not good enough when you’re one dimensional. Even Travis got most of his yards on the 2 tds. That’s not bad. Just a little too much famine.
@beingmboi237 сағат бұрын
KU DBs we’re getting burnt all game. KU defense couldn’t do anything with the WRs. CU’s defense just couldn’t get a stop to put the offense back on the field.
@johnlee70856 сағат бұрын
Hunter had 2 long TDs in 9 catches. Aside from Travis, they got very little, as in 7 points. That’s hardly noticeable much less getting burnt all day.
@beingmboi236 сағат бұрын
@ Hunter burnt all the DBs as well as the other WRs in the 19 mins the offense was on the field. So much so you had Bryant holding to try and keep up and Hunter still got a TD on him and the SS over the top. During the little time the offense was on the field KU DBs were not only burnt but got head topped as well. Again I say. You all could not stop CUs offense which was clear as day.

There is a weird second scenario where ISU and ASU both win and CU still gets in over ISU. It’s funky, but it’s BYU loses AND TT beats WV. It’s because it puts TT in a tie for 4th and CU beat TT and TT beat ISU and ASU. I’m starting to think conferences with this many teams that don’t play each other might be an issue.

CU didn't make adjustments after halftime. Should have stacked line on defense 8 in box to stop the run. Yes it would have put your corners on island so what....but stop the run at all cost force them to throw. It was bad coaching offense and defense.

After two bad games in a row Hunter had a decent game, (not even highest graded on his own team as usual) but overall not even close to being a top 10 receiver or corner. just because he plays both ways does not make him a Heisman. This makes no sense. He does not impact his team winning or losing any of his games. Plus the fact that they have no wins over ranked teams and have three bad losses, how is this even a discussion? BSU has played ranked teams and will have played five ranked teams by the time the season is over. Ashton just continues to make his team win, and they would not be winning without him and he almost Carried his team to win against the number one team in the country. If it wasn’t for two lucky kick and punt returns for scores, they would have won. He is by far the best player in college football and possibly of all time if you consider, he’s on track to break Barry sanders record of which 1/3 of Sanders record was against a combined total teams with only one recorded win. Barry, did not play against a good slate of competition. Also every year Olympians, break world records and defensive and offensive schemes in football continues to evolve. I would argue that Ashton is playing against much tougher competition than Sanders did Wayback in the day against teams with terrible records.

Defense finally let CU down
@DOkammor12 сағат бұрын
The defense was on the field for 40 minutes. They were TIRED and couldn’t stop the run. This was the coaches failure to adjust on the offense. CU should have leaned into the passing the ball. Sheduer has pride himself on going into “Brady mode” in tough times. WHY didn’t he just do it” Kansas feared his passing skills and ability to extend plays. Win the next game and keep hope alive🙏🏼

He is not a star at both sides of the ball .
@johnlee708516 сағат бұрын
If Travis is not a star, then there basically are none. There are a few comparable WRs, but is there another CB that is as shutdown? Not many if any. The grades show it.
@melvincarter964016 сағат бұрын
@johnlee7085 so what does the grade show when he play defense, compare to others who play defense? He play full time defense right ? Does he lead in inception, or break up plays ? The answer is no so how is he a star on both sides of the ball
@ThreadAndCircuses115 сағат бұрын
@@johnlee7085 His zone/ball skills skills are elite, but the biggest problem is he's not covering anybody of note. Outside of TMac, it's nobody that was highly recruited and valued by the NFL he's going up against. It's hard when the comparable level athletes don't play in his conference.
