And don't forget they were is a very competitive Pac 12 division and schedule. But it is a colorado program that had to be rebuilt from thr ground up. Which takes 2-3 seasons to rise. My problem is the negative attacks he throws at Deion and the Sanders family no matter what they do. He says nothing in a positive light of the man or they way he has raised children, or the positive light he's put on all the people around him. He calls himself a "christian" but he has an evil eye towards his own brother. Deion doesn't even talk about him on air, tells me who really has character.

I don't think Jason Whitlock understands how quickly someone can become what they claim to stand against. He idolizes his own ideals, and this has fueled his dislike of many people. Truly righteous individuals call out what is right and wrong without much, if any, personal feelings toward others. That being said, Deion Sanders has flaws, but he also has strengths. This criticism feels personal for Jason-there's something in Deion that Jason wishes he possessed. Deion frequently talks about God and holds his players accountable. Are there flaws? Yes-perhaps too much focus on rap or a tendency toward idolatry. Call those out, but also recognize the positive aspects, such as a black man leading other black men and referencing God in almost every interview. Righteous people acknowledge these truths as well.
