Insane Powder Day @Breckenridge Ski Resort Colorado (Horseshoe Bowl T-Bar Opening Day) 2-5-2021

Over two feet of snow in a couple of days at Breckenridge. Today we catch fresh turns after they opened up the Horseshoe Bowl T- Bar before we head to lift 6 in the back bowl.
The high alpine terrain at Breckenridge is fantastic, great trees, powder bowls, and even some cliff drops. This terrain is highly recommended for experts only. Before heading up the T- Bar make sure you have an idea of the run you want to do and the easiest route to the bottom, theres no blues up high.

Very few things in life are more exhausting than trying to navigate through dense glades in a few feet of fresh powder! Loved the video. Headed there in 37 days. Can't wait!

Loved it CC076!!! You're my favorite to watch on YT because you're fast and love to hear your reaction to conditions as you're skiing. I'll be a Breck for 2weeks 3/6-20th. Looking forward to shredding some higher terrain this year. Learning to ride the T-bar as well. One suggestion: let us know where you are on the mountain so that we can follow along on the map. What would you say is the easiest route down after heading up the T-Bar? Ready to graduate from the more intense blues but don't want to find myself with two broken ankles and a pile of shit in my pants

Pika or Four O Clock, everything is black, If you don't know what your doing or cant ride a T-Bar I would stay out. Nothing is groomed

@@camronstewart6427 Pika and Four O Clock arn't overly steep but ungroomed. Practice on some of the high alpine terrain on Peak 6 it will get you ready! Best of luck out there!

@@coloradocamera Last time I was there was probably in 95. First year I patrolled there we drew 275,000. Last year I was there it was 1,400,000. That was I think 2 years after Vail bought it.
