I appreciate this movie. At first I started to not watch when in the beginning the young man, with headphones on, was jogging, and the cops were calling him, to stop, but he couldn't hear them. Right then, I thought of Travon Martin, and I knew I was going to get those very sad feelings about him, as when it happened. Seems the fight for justice really started, with Travon, even though there was many before him killed in that same way, but his death made worldwide news, because of his innocence, with no intention to harm, and that hooded jacket. After his death I purposely wore my hooded jacket outside, for reasons, but mostly to show I stood for justice, for Travon. And sadly, there's been many since Travon's death, killed the same way. I'm glad I continued watching because you get a bigger picture of when the cameras are off what the family of the slain, and the suspects are going through. I love the title of this movie, too, because that is how we are supposed to look at everyone. We are to look at their heart, not their skin color. So for any who still have unbroken chains their ancestors put on them, telling them to hate a race, and that they're superior, that boat has long been sunk. Our ancestors mostly tried to tell us what they thought was good, but their words are not the gospel. You have to analyze it yourself to seek any truth, in them. I am very thankful for my mama, RIP, who gave me good advice, and to this day she's still my best role model. And I'm very grateful she never taught us to hate, another race. Even though it wasn't till years later, studying Black History I then realized my mama had been in those turbulent waters, of oppression, of having to sit in the back of the bus, toilets with white only, and black only signs, and many other superiority rules, and she had never came home and told us any of those things they went through. And they didn't show hate for the oppresors. My neighborhood was like a village, they were hard working, clean adults, and humble, and helped each other, and watched others children like their own, and I loved them all. My mama kept her bad times, from us, for her reasons, but with her protective nature of sheltering her children, I can believe she didn't want us to be agitators. I kind of wish I had known then, and I probably would have followed the road of defense attorney, because I hate oppression, and hate what my ancestors went through. At this point, in my life I just try to do what little I can, to be part of the solution, and not part, of the problem. Thanks
