The very start of your video, I learned a tip about putting a bit of water on the front of the canvas to tighten it a bit. I do that to the back of stretched canvasses but had not thought of doing the front of a panel. I love the mushroom forest painting. It reminds me of a magical place, where everything is ok with the world, no stresses to deal with. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

It’s hard to choose a favorite but one of my all time favorites had to be the sailboat. I struggle with structures but this one felt so fluid for me. I would love to see you paint more desert landscape paintings.

Mine came out fairly different, only one butterfly and my purple flowers are milk thistle which is very common in my area. Congratulations on closing in on 1 Million Viewers! While I love all of your paintings….my favorite painting/lesson is from 5 years ago: Waterfall Cave (Japan’s Kameiwa Cave). It is so beautiful! Ah the application of colours was too satisfying, the blending of colours was super smooth, the details of trees was just so fine, the running river between the trees was so realistic ❤in short it was a beautiful and masterpiece..... I have been loving all the techniques you show, especially the blending. I am new to acrylic painting beyond simple application, so I thoroughly enjoy the way you show dry brush vs wet brush application, the different types of brushes and what they can do, and your calm voice adds to the learning experience, it makes me maintain a calm, even when I feel I’m not doing as well as I’d like to be doing. I would love to see more of the variety of brushes, pens, and tools that you use. Especially for sealing different types of creations. ❤

Your tutorials got me started during the pandemic and I am still learning and still painting!! My favorite was the train lesson because it was the only painting I did that my father (who lived with us) ever asked to keep for himself. He passed away at age 97 but the picture still hangs in his old bedroom. It reminded him of the old black smoke engines that used to pass his home as a child during the Great Depression.

The first painting of yours I attempted was “Red Poppies.” While I’ve learned so much having done several of your tutorials in the past 3 years, this one remains my favorite. It was because of your calm patience, emphasis on details, and your unassuming mentorship, I realized I could, and really wanted to paint! 1. My favorite tutorial you’ve done is Snowy Train. I actually tried it myself for practice and…Yeah… a lot harder than it looks 😂. 2. What I’d like to see more of on you channel in the future is maybe some fall paintings. Like a pumpkin patch or maybe a scarecrow in a cornfield. I sure you could make some beautiful scenes out of such ideas.

I would like to see more nature paintings in the future also maybe some paintings of just the sky? Like blue skies with white clouds? 1. This river forest is my favorite tutorial you have. Blues are my favorite colours and they ar complimented so naturally with the green tones. I’m a mountain, forest, river lover. Growing up in Alberta we have so much landscape that looks like this and it’s incredibly calming. 2. Would love to see more tutorials on how to paint things such as fog and rays of light. It looks easy enough but when you actually go to put it into practise I find I struggle with it. I’ve been a follower of yours since the beginning and have also enjoyed watching your family grow and your move down to warmer climates.

I really love your style and cannot think of anything specifically I'd like to see except if you have done more abstract landscape work. CONGRATULATIONS ON 1 MILLION SUBS! My favorite lesson was the Cave with the light beams. It was back in the beginning of my painting journey. I would like to see some shorter lessons available. I love the longer lessons, but I am not able to paint as much as I would like. Having a shorter lesson available gives a larger selection on time needed.

And there is another that's my very favorite. It's like a purple forest with a dirt road and bridge. The trees and greenery are gorgeous. Sorry don't remember the name of it.
