My husband and I watched every detailed minute -- totally enthralled that you replicated the sky we had just seen while visiting in Georgia!! Didn't have the beautiful swans, but it was reflected in a river. Now, if only either of us could paint!

Clouds and refections off the water is stunning. Maybe one day I'll give it a try. Still learning how to do clouds first. Binged watch most of your work, but this one is stunning as a learning tool. Your voice makes it calm and relaxing too.

I think your work is beautiful. I did a great job on my very first painting, a sailboat with beautiful clouds in a darkening sky. Looking forward to trying some of these. I have also used your techniques on a few original paintings of my own and they turned out great! I will post photos on your FB site. If I have one word of advice to anyone taking up these challenging paintings, its :you can never have enough white!!. You'll see!

This is the first time I am coming across an artist using lamp black and I thought there was a good reason why it was not often recommended. I bought a big tube of Reeves lamp black and found it to be absolutely useless, as it is not fast at all. It just sits on the surface, ready to smear. I got it from the stationery store called Officeworks in Australia.
