My friends an I during lockdowns have been having painting competitions every couple of weeks or so, we’ve never painted before except maybe way back in school. Your painting is what we’re working on now. I’ve won 2 times, although that’s not important as we do it to keep busy and to stay in touch. It’s been wonderful and has kept us sane. I know this was posted quite sometime ago but I just want to thank you, “ thank you” . It’s a lovely painting and it’s given my group of friends such pleasure. I’ve just finished the boat and I’m looking forward to painting the tree and blossom.

Never have I enjoyed a tutorial video as much as this one. At first I thought 1 1/2 hours, but I really don't know how the time went by so quickly! I was so pleasantly surprised how much I learned in that time. So much detail, I could never understand how details so fine could be painted. Enjoyed this painting and your style. I didn't waste canvas, I practiced on canvas pads just painting the water over and over. then I went back and added the boat about 8 times before I started on my final. I like mixing your colors the way you do and have adopted this. Thanks (I'm just a beginner but getting better)wish I would have started in my younger years.

Thank very much for a wonderful way for me to get back into my amateur painting. I am now 74 years young and decided to try acrylics after joining the many thousands years ago who watched Bob Ross and taught ourselves. Your videos are extremely informative, and even if I don't get out of the wet on wet technique, I will watch just for the calming effect of watching you. My biggest problem right now is PATIENCE.....I seem to be rushing thru my acrylics because they dry too fast, even with retarder. I need to remember to paint in layers and stop trying to move the paint once it starts drying. That and other new stuff needs to be learned. Anyway, Practice Makes Perfect, right? I'm gonna keep at it and do my best which should get better after continuing your videos. Thanks again. Vic from New York!

This was the very first painting I have ever tried. It wasn't the same as yours but still no one could believe it was my first painting ever. You are a great teacher. After this painting i tried another tutorial of another youtuber and failed miserably even though the lpainting was much simpler. Yeah, I also used a light pink instead of white to do the flowers. The sponge was a fabulous idea when going over the white flowers! He really made that water pop when he blended all the waves. I LOVED the way he blended the flowers at the end.

I can't stay to enjoy the video right now, but I wanted to tell you that I enjoy watching you paint. You are gifted in the skill department, and have a wonderful command of the paint. I enjoy learning from you because I see your work isn't child's play. Your work speaks for it's self. I only wish I could become as good at painting as you are. I don't think I could learn all the techniques in my life time. Maybe if I had only started younger. People tell me that after my coma last year, I came back a different person than they use to know. IDK if that's really so. Maybe,I just acquired a passion to do the things I had always wanted to do. Painting is one of those things. I may just be absorbing as much as I can, so that one day in Heaven I can be a Artist. One of the best. With a color palette that we could have never imagined.. As for brushes,?
