Ooh la la Felix’s! I started a painting last week and find the sky looks too dark and dreary. I am going to apply the first half of this video to lighten and brighten the sky. Then I will finish with the Eiffel Tower! Thank you for your clear, thorough and concise instruction!

I have just started acryLics and have found every day liquids wbich have some isopropyl alcobol help with blending . A Simonize glass cleaner sprayed onto the painting greatly assists blending but Wow it is hard work compared to oil painting.. My next step will be to try a couple of large air brushes.

When the video first started I was impressed with the color mixing on the pallet but then when you started randomly putting color on the canvas I thought, ugh, this can’t come out good. can you do one where the sky is like that but with rays of light coming through like one of those spiritual paintings maybe indicate an Angel ... I want to paint one like that and I can't think of anyone else I know here online that can do it like you. it looks like a very rich in color water painting in which I have been trying to learn with watercolors lately but then I found your channel and was blown away on how beautiful you teach and your technique with acrylics. I love painting in all 3 oil acrylics and now water and what a great combination... painting I've become way more passionate about painting since I started watching you.
