Your videos always motivate me to draw because you have such a positive outlook on your art. I get in my head a lot and hate the thought of not liking a drawing so most of the time it becomes hard to even pick up the pencil.

Don't keep up with fashion. I've learned to wear what makes me feel like the character I want to be, the person I want to be. Eventually, it'll come into fashion. And then it'll go away again. As long as you look cohesive and clean, you look good 😎

Just worked on a bunch of colored pencil drawings in my sketchbook and I had a lot of fun working with them, they make me feel more at ease compared to my usual oil pastels (u should also give those a try)

Hullo Peter, I love to see you branching out into other mediums. I started working with soft pastels and it is a whole new learning experience. I started out ,like most, with just a pencil to draw with! I then moved to ball point pens and fountain/ink pens and different nibs for calligraphy. I was introduced to watercolors at just 10 years old by my Grandmother and she taught a bunch of us during the summer when I was a kid(Back in the late 60's & early 70's) she helped out our parents who worked and she tried to get about 14 to 18 kids interested in Art and she used several mediums, but watercolors were her JAM! I took to them like a duck to water, is that how the saying goes? Well I love seeing your videos and listening to you just chat and I hope you have a trip video after you come home.

Oh, yeah! Pressing hard with c.pencils is rewarding. As for clothing: classic and be yourself. Wear what you feel good in. You’ll exude confidence cuz you’re comfortable in your clothes and skin. Hope you’re having fun in Italy! The drawing 👍🏼

Several years ago, I lost all my clothes in a fire. I only had the clothes people donated to me, and I didn’t have a choice on what I could wear. I know that’s why I take such pleasure in buying clothes now. I don’t think it’s so much important what you wear, but if you can choose what makes you happy, that’s what’s important. Have fun on your trip!

Love your doodles and watch a lot. But purchased your 2nd design of a fountain pen and it's never worked, mostly skipping. Hubby has been trying to use it but now it just leaks so we can't use it. Who was the manufacturer? It's the only fountain pen that we have that doesn't work.

The difference between how the U.S. uses 'pants' vs the UK will always feel weird lol. Like when you talk about taking off your pants in public, I get an interesting image in my head.

@@peter_draws yeah, and we call 'pants' trousers, jeans etc. I love your work Peter. I come more for your calming and random thought journals and occasional walks than the art (although the art is great too!) In other words you can talk about pants as much as you want :).

omg i *hate* when people keep jiggling the door knob after they've already noticed it's locked. it's like,, why do i need to verbally confirm my presence to you? use common sense!! if a door is locked that means you can't go in it, jiggling the doorknob won't magically make it open for you lmao. people do this all the time at work-- I work outdoors, when i'm in the bathroom i just want to enjoy my air conditioned piss in peace.
