I was just thinking, whenever I see people with their purge, why couldn't they just utilize that into a usable piece instead of it just being a wasted block

@@trevorcarlisle5447 This is not a purge block but an ooze shield and nozzleprimer to avoid stringing. This printer has two extruders (IDEX) so no need to purge out old colors, but stringing you dont want when you have two colors

@@trevorcarlisle5447 there are algorithms to purge into infill and supports instead of just a purge tower but most people have to do multiple or one and a purge tower for it to work well.

Why use dual extruder if the print seems to be 2 parts that you can snap together? Wouldnt that just be a waste of time and material on the purge shell?
