Beautiful, thank you so much for helping us. I have trouble blending but you’ve helped me understand how to do this effectively. Because of your help, I painted my first painting that when I looked at it again in the morning I thought, oh who came in last night and put that on my easel 😍. Oddly, I felt unsure of my newly found artist skill, where did that come from my husband said! It’s not perfect, but boy, I’m worried I can’t do that again. Every new painting is a challenge I’m realising, and they always develop their own way whilst you are painting them from wet to dry. Each one has its own character and life even if you try to paint your scene again, it’s never the same, it always turns out very different. I love painting. But am very much an unconfident beginner with dreams of grandeur, ha-ha. On A4 canvases, I don’t think so. Well, the Mona Leisa is a tiny painting in reality. On TV they make it look huge. How can you tell, I’m excited about my first real painting, the first one to look bright and with depth and real. Thank you, that’s your brilliant descriptive help with every brush stroke.

Love your videos and the detail you give while painting. I usually paint in oils but I am tempted to try acrylics again, seeing how you use them. When I was learning acrylics I was taught to put them on a wet paper towel. Never liked that technique. Thank you again.
