Colorful Grab and Go Tote Bag - Crochet Tutorial - Lion Brand Mandala Thick and Quick

Todays crochet tutorial I will be showing you how to make this beginner friendly Grab and Go Tote Bag. Simple single crochet stitches were used.
Material List
Lion Brand Mandala Thick & Quick (6) Bulky weight yarn.
For Bright colored Bag with the Pink, Yellow, Green, Purple and Orange choose color # 210 Pinwheel
For the Darker colored Tote with the Red, Gold, Blue and Gold as shown in the video choose color # 205 Whirl
You will need:
3 cakes of the color of your choice
Large eyed yarn needle.
Crochet hook size N-15 (10 mm)

Hi, How did that work for you, Gloria? I just started using that yarn, and when Glenda started doing her sides, my base was about four inches too short so I kept going around a few more times. Thankfully it seems to be a forgiving pattern, I don't seem to have messed it up too much...yet. Thanks

this is a great vid. the straps at 45:00 is exactly what i was looking for. i got so frustrated trying to make a decent looking strap for my granny square bag. this helped so much

I made several knitted hats with the thick and quick for my grand toddlers and a cousin years ago. I made gigantic Pom poms which made the hat so fun. This yarn makes any project go fast and the finished project is perfect. BEWARE: it is a VERY WARM yarn😃... I also made one toddler poncho by taking the leftovers and making squares. My little grands were so cozy warm. LOVE this bag especially the second color way.

I have been watching other tutorials where people buy bags to use for a project and this bag is wonderful for that .you can make them smaller or larger .great tutorial thank you.i use a crochet hook to do my ends instead of a needle especially helps with short ends .
