I'm confused, if Fe2+ and Fe3+ are mixed, they make prussian blue. Why is it that when she added Fe2+ in the cyanide complex to the test tube with Fe2+ ions it turned blue? Does the iron get oxidized? Thank you.

No, your blood is never blue. If your blood were to do this, that would mean there's cyanide in it.

it is iron hexacyanoferrate not iron ferrocyanide
