I have found so really great beads at yard sales and thrift stores, buy getting old costume jewelry and taking it apart and cleaning them well. really pretty and different beads. And usually really really cheap

I enjoy every few months gathering up my misalanious beads that are left over after other projects.. that may only have one or two of and just spreading them out on my work table and just play around with them and see what i can come up with. some of my favorite designs have come from these brain storming and fun, with no preset ideas and just see what happen. It uses the beads you have around that are great beads and just have fun with it.. love this design, thank you for sharing
