I know of another charity that is doing so much in this area. They are working with Congressman Corey Mills from FL to provide helicopters and they are now providing ALL of the bottled oxygen for the entire area because the stockpiles have been depleted. They are operating the life flight helicopters in addition to providing food, water, medicine, generators, freezers, refrigerators. That charity is called Mercury One. They are always one of the first in and are the last to leave. They are still getting people out of Afghanistan and they are still in Hawaii helping those people as an example of how long they stay around to help. It's another option for people to donate to that does not get much attention. Sending massive prayers for everyone that has been caught in the devastation. 🙏🙏🙏Thanks, Jenny, for being a ray of sunshine and beauty despite the devastation around you. Hope springs eternal. ❤

I agree with your idea re: weed suppression. My mantra is “no vacancy,” every square inch of soil is filled with plants so weeds don’t have any room or sunshine to grow.

Jenny, these plants really made this garden look so wonderful…hello Miss Brynna! I agree Samaritan’s Purse is the best way to help the Hurricane victims, Franklin Graham not only delivers water ,food, but they have set up field hospitals for the wounded, God Bless North Carolina 🙏…..Shout out to Linn County, Iowa Lineman for getting our lights back on October 3rd, they traveled over a 1,000 miles to help us in South Carolina 🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸

Gov DeSantis of FL has set loads of help up your way. National Guard, trucks of food, water, other nessaities & electrical crews. FL is blessed with the best Gov in the nation, he mades sure FL is always prepared. He also send supplies for building bridges to get to people that can't get passage to help. He's a great man.

Thank you for using your platform to inform your viewers about the needs in Western NC. ❤️❤️❤️ We all need accurate info about what's really happening there and the best ways to give and help! I always like to hear your design rationale and ideas when you plant a new area. Even if we're not using the same plants, the great overall picture idea can be adapted. Btw, I agree with Jerry. Like the idea of the Roman Candle at the end of the wall. 🥰

My heart goes out to you all, news is getting out and people are responding, just know that and we care deeply!🙏🏻

Hi Jen, you might try pulling some of the limbs on your green giant towards the empty space and tying them in place to fill in the hole. It will take time but it should help. Love the new garden space ❤❤❤

Loving this area so much, but being the southern girl I am, missing the strappy texture of day lilies-I know it is hard to see the final version going into fall, but you could hide the daffodil foliage with the day lilies! Loved all these plant choices! Enjoy your weekend!

Take a look at World Central Kitchen and Chef Andre who is on the ground and putting out video of all the help NC is recieving. I can't believe the amount of misinformation being propagated about this horrific event. It's truly sad and scary. Everyone is helping. In bad situations around the world it's always very hopeful to see communities come together in combination with all available resources.

Jenny and Jerry the Terrace garden is magnificent! If I could offer one small opinion. The centre box cuts off the flow of the garden. In my opinion it needs to be placed lengthwise like the rest of them.

Roman Candle up to the left of the steps.to the chicken coop. Close to the grassy area. It will bring some height to that area. Another suggestion would be to add some more of your hydrangeas to that side of the steps for continuity.

During our EF 2 tornado, they did arrive to help up with debris cleanup at some point, but I did not see them handing out meals or helping with door-to-door rescues. The trees on peoples houses were mostly taken down by locals. We did have the state National Guard here to help with roads that were not passable.

@@karenschrantz2307 Just so you know MANY people are TRYING to help FEMA isn’t letting them, they want to coordinate everything and they’re dropping the ball. If we weren’t in our 70’s we would be there trying to help. My husband is watching the reports of what’s happening down there, truck loads of things are being sent down and I mean truck loads, hopefully you get to see some of it ! You’re in my prayers ! 🌺💚🙃 Dynamic Aviation loaded up a plane with things, my daughter works there, hoping that they could get through that way. 🤞🏻🌺💚🙃
