I love your pajamas!(or at least that’s what I think your top is. Lol) They’re so cute with the little hearts. Nice haul. I’d love to try the gouache palette and the Alice in Wonderland scrapbook set was amazing.

I started in with rubber stamps a LONG time ago (we’re talking 25-30 years) and I remember seeing the House Mouse stamps then. They were a bit too expensive for me, but so cute! I’ll have to check into the coloring books. Inhadn’t heard about the graphitint pans...I have all the pencils, but the pans would be awesome. So new here in the US that I can’t find it on amazon, but some other art supply retailers have it. I do a fair bit of sketching and painting in my car in bad weather too...I think we should start a Plein Car movement ;-)

Haha, yes we should 😂 I didn't get the graphitint paints from Amazon either, it was another online art shop. For some reason, Amazon don't have them yet.

Hi Rebecca! Great haul! The cards in the scrapbook kit are called journaling cards. You use them in "junk journals". Not what they sound like.

Great haul! I played it whilst colouring in 'Rainforest Escape' with the Supracolor anniversary set and your glitter paints (which are beautifully glittery). Try those graphitint paints in one of Kerby Rosanes early books (I have Imagimorphia) it has quite a few robotic or steam punk type elements in it. At the moment I'm doing a double page spread with airships and using the graphitint and Derwent's new anniversary set of metallic pencils on it. Those muted graphite tones are perfect for that style of image. The iridescent medium can be mixed in with watercolour and probably gauche paints, to make them glittery. But that's a bit like coals to Newcastle for you. Your glitter paints pack a real punch. The Derwent pencil museum is on my list of places to visit at some point. I never even knew it existed until Harry came along with the Art Gear Guide. I have to save a few things so that when I do get there, I can actually come home with something. I'll be interested to see what you think of the Mondeluz (my only full set of watercolour pencils so far) and the Derwent Watercolour pencils. It's a fascinating medium that I'm very novice with. I need to find a way to loosen up with them. Have fun with your stuff now the pressure is easing. Same here, orders have suddenly dropped to more normal levels. Shame ;-)

Yep, it's a shame, Sue. At least we are getting a rest and have hopefully picked up some new customers. It was a nice cash injection into my business and has really helped me out. I need to see the Derwent Museum myself too. I think I'll go when it opens and I'll make a video about the Mondeluz at some point (hopefully), and I'll include your pretty tapes in my next haul video (coming soon, lol.).

Hiya Rebecca, I hope you and your Mum are well. I always love your unboxing videos as you know and that's a nice haul you got there. Those little Derwent paint sets are so cute aren't they and I'm glad you've been using them. Mum's young cat got run over a couple of weeks ago (the day I turned up) and it happened when we were out shopping at Lidl. Some hit and run driver got her in a 4x4. Mum's devastated because Lucy (the cat) was such a love, a very quirky moggy but loved Mum and even put her paws up around her neck to cuddle her. She was a rescue cat (Mum always goes for rescues) and she reckons, if she goes for cats again she is going to pick 2 as she's had 2 in the past. Let's hope they live a bit longer as Lucy was only 11 months old.:-(

Rebecca, if you don’t think you’ll use those hog bristle brushes, I’d be happy to buy them from you. I’ve been dabbling in oil paints but don’t have nearly enough brushes. Message me on Instagram if you’re interested. 😘😘😘 The GraphiTint pan set looks interesting. I want to try the pencils. Do you really ever use watercolor pencils? I have a 60 set of Albrecht Durer and never ever use them. I don’t see the point when I have watercolors!
@rebeccasartcoloringvideos78004 жыл бұрын
Hi Christina, you can have those brushes. If you email or Instagram me your postal address, I'll get them sent out to you. I don't use watercolour pencils as much as I would like to but that goes for all my art supplies. I did actually do a full painting of some tiger eyes with watercolour pencils a couple of months ago. It was a tutorial by Kirsty Partridge. I was glad I did because I learned so much from her on ways to use them. I do get your point though and I've thought the same myself in the past. I've thought that about all water-soluble products such as neocolor II, inktense etc. What's the point if you have good watercolours? None of these things are ever going to be as good. But, I've come to the conclusion that they don't have to be as good in terms of quality etc, they are just fun and can be used in different ways. Even if just using the watercolour pencils for a base layer on a colouring page and then use them dry for the next layers or just layer other coloured pencils over the top. For pencil users, it's very difficult, sometimes impossible to get a smooth colour so watercolor pencils are great for that. And lets not forget about how beautiful they are in the tin, lol, and they smell so good too 😂
