Thank you for the tutorial. I had a question though, when you set up the mood and lay down a specific color for the background, do you change the layer mode when you go in to color the surrounding buildings and things? How do you know whether the colors you choose will compliment the mood?

Thanks for the question. No, I am coloring the background and buildings on a normal layer. For panels with characters, I create a layer for the background and a layer for the character. I create a new layer for layer modes where I add the glowing effects. If I want a certain mood I will use cool colors or warm colors. I hope this helps

@@avionart When you're trying to create a specific mood (say the scene is at night), do you change the color palette for your characters to fit the mood or just lay down that specific color over the existing flat colors? I hope that makes sense 🙂

How do you prepare and export your comic after you are finished for example for printing?

If you have Clip Studio Paint it makes it easy to export a comic ready to print. I suggest doing more research on the topic. I haven't personally printed any physical copies of this comic.
