Question: Why Cover in gray in the beginning? By the way amazing art!
@tahraartАй бұрын
In my case, 1. Once the entire area is painted, it is easy to designate a continuous area. 2. If the background is white, it is easy to grasp the entire silhouette shape of the character. 3. I like the feeling of mixing gray and other colors. It can choose a more stable color. Thank you so much!

how do you blend color that clean in 6:30 to 6:31 or 7:50 to 7:51 is that some kind of tool used? or it just simply brush stroke combine with opacity Thank you for Answering in advance !
@ny4nk0Ай бұрын
Not the artist, but I think I can answer your question. Because the brush is not fully opaque, when you paint with it you create a new color that is in-between the background color and the color you are painting with. You can use the eyedropper(aka color picker) tool to select this new color, and use it to reduce the contrast between the edges, effectively softening them. Because the video is sped up it looks a bit magic, but it's just painting! Depending on how different the two colors are you may need to repeat this several times until it looks smooth. This method is so commonly used that usually the eyedropper tool is assigned to a button on the pen for quick access. Hope this was helpful!
@tahraartАй бұрын
It's actually a very simple process, You can use the pen pressure of the brush to create a variety of dark tones. With pen pressure, the opacity is not 100% every moment, so it mixes with the color painted underneath to create a variety of tones. If you use the eyedropper together at this time, you can create more color tones.
@tahraartАй бұрын
@@ny4nk0 Your thoughts are exactly right.😄
@DaDoubleDeeАй бұрын
Doesn't the grey tone change the color when you paint on top of it?

It absolutely should be able to. The brush settings in most modern brush engines are very similar, and from what I hear, CSPs is very advanced. This is a very simple brush; you may just need to find some settings that have different names than they do here, but do tje same thing.

@tahraartАй бұрын
