Thank you Lea for this review. I am so sorry your version of Christls Christmas book was damaged, it is a simply gorgeous book.I also have Der verwunschene Wald, I always think of it as her spring book, which is also gorgeous.

It is gorgeous! I hope you love coloring your book! I was heartbroken at how damaged mine was ...there was literally nothing that could be saved :(. I'll buy it again next year I guess for Christmas! I didn't get it again for this year because it would not have arrived in time :(. Happy coloring x

I have all her books in this series, but I had no idea she had this one coming out until "Colour It Inn" posted on her FB page. I ran over and immediately purchased it. It hasn't shipped yet. it's been about a week. Hopefully, they get it going here soon. Im in the States, and we can't order her books on Amazon US, so it will take some time to get here from the UK. The paper works well with a light wash of Tombow pens and watercolor pencils. I haven't done full-on watercolor in it, though. The Christmas one is very busy. I think it's actually my least favorite. You avoid black hair, and that's one I do all the time. 😆 I struggle with blonde hair. I find it always looks too yellow, not realistic. I'll have to keep practicing. Lol.😄 Thanks for sharing!

I hope you enjoy your new book! It's gorgeous as you can see from the look inside! I will be experimenting in it when I sit down to color but I really wanted the Christmas one for this year :(. Isn't it funny how we are all so different - to me black hair just seems so difficult to achieve without looking like an ink spill whereas a blonde seems far more achievable to me. I hope you find the right look for your blonde hair images! Happy coloring x

Thanks Lea :) Its cute! I LOVE all things fairytale themed. Im so sorry to hear your Christmas one was so terribly destroyed. I dont have either but they are cute :) People have referred to her style as being a bit similar to Klara's work but more affordable!

It is lovely! I was heartbroken about the Christmas one as I had planned to color it this year. I really wanted to keep it but as I went through all the pages nothing really could be saved :(. After all my years buying on Amazon it's the only book I have ever returned. Still sad about it but oh well! I guess I see why people compare her to Klara but really I think their styles are very different. Beautiful in different ways! Happy coloring x

I purchased 'das Krauter Elfen' (I think garden weeds) earlier this year and completed the book, front to back, in a few months of evening tv coloring. I was sad when it ended.

Wow! You completed the whole book! That's amazing! The only book I've come close to completing is Wild Soul! You are amazing at how much work you have done. Lucky for you Christl has other books if you ever want to dive in for some more binge tv and coloring! Happy coloring x
