At first I was wondering about that 🤔 but then I remembered that he (apologies, I don't know the name of the creator of this video content) he also found another photo negative in the same box in the drawer standing in the cellar/basement. (This is in a previous video) The other photo shows the same cat with a kitten and a dog sitting alongside each other on the grass. The kitten was probably one of her babies.💕🐈

@@bricktown3156 well if you mean they were born in 1903, I shall remind you that typically any person can't remember anything before the age of 2 or 3 (variable), but also, the more you age the harder it is to remember something from your early memories. Unless we find photorealistic paintings, that are sure to be colour-correct representations of reality at the time we can't know for sure. Then again, nature is the same, so steel has looked the same since the beginning of forging and so on. So really, what colours were, they still are!

Good memories mixed with the sadness of a loss, the knowledge that a particular time of joy and happiness has passed and most likely not relived. Because the cat has been dead for 110 years and the black and white picture, while nice, did not illustrate life. Then, before our eyes, the cat gained his color and, thus, his life back. And he looked like a cat you would pet had you been alive all those many years ago.

I didn't expect to cry but watching the first video & then the colorization of a young lady's beloved kitty literally caused my heart to warm! A true feeling in my chest! I collect Depression Glass & other antique glassware and I love thinking about the families from another time holding it, using it, treasuring it. This video makes me think of the little Victorian-era girl with long curls and an innocent smile asking daddy to take a picture of her best friends. A photo takes you back. It gives you love!
