Colors and composition in Mr. Robot

S4 felt a lot warmer than the previous seasons, color wise

Theories on each color scheme: I'm open to the idea of being 100% wrong on this, but: RED is displayed to convey moments of danger, death, and deconstruction of self (The staircase scene, Whiterose's final act, Edward collapsing at the theater, Elliot sharing the wish story with Angela to show that, despite everything that has driven them apart, he has come to realize that he still cares for her and cannot be turned against her). YELLOW/ORANGE is displayed during moments of revelation (The prison reveal, Price revealing the existence of the Deus Group, the scenes at the Queens Museum, Vera and gut-wrenching twist about Elliot at Krista's place, and Dom realizing that she was wrong to be without Darlene). GREEN is tricky but I think that it represents a mixture of a fear of what's to come and the brave face (or mask) that the characters put on despite the overwhelming odds against them (the chess match used to establish dominance, Tyrell trying not to get caught as he attempts to reunite with his family, Angela realizing that it's too late for her, Dom being shaken by Irving's ruthlessness, Elliot hacking while he's being watched, and Price trying to keep it together during Angela's final moments -- It's also interesting that most of these take place outside in nature as if Esmail is saying that it is human nature to hide from what scares us and what we put out isn't the same as what we have within). BLUE is used to convey the feeling of uneasiness that comes with isolation and/or a desire to connect/help (Tyrell meeting with Elliot at Coney Island to be closer to him and his revolution, Leon trying to "help" Trenton and Mobley feel at ease by talking about TV shows, Angela rejecting Price's offer to spend his birthday with him, and that one shot of Tyrell in his office where he finally has the CTO position but at what cost?). Finally, PURPLE/VIOLET is used to convey/foreshadow moments of transition/points of no return for the characters (Consider the Lupe's sign illuminating Darlene and Cisco before things get deadly, the arcade on the night of 5/9, Price and Whiterose sharing a drink right as Stage 2 is taking place, and Tyrell accepting the end as light overtakes him). Thoughts?

I miss this show so much. I had a dream I was talking to…rami malek or Elliot?? Idk but I ended up dreaming about the show in general and I woke up realizing how cool it was. How the story sucked me in from the very first episode, and I could go on about literally every other aspect of the show, but I find it all amazing and I just.. it was hard to let go. I know I’ll never experience anything else like this, I know it was a one time thing, I know literally everything else I watch will never meet up to this because of how good it is and honestly I don’t even wanna watch anything else. I tried watching some other show, even some movies, and idk I just thought to myself “this isn’t as good” like honestly. Mr robot had a purpose for everything, and I cared so much for our protagonist, it just seemed like everything had purpose and in movies, they just put in a cool shot just “because it looks cool”. No other meaning. Idk man I’m not very organized with this comment but overall I just miss the crap out of this show but I’m super glad that I experienced it, and I will never forget it.
