I agree! I started the game without Roberta and chose Colossal Cave because my game dev skills were rusty and it already had a solid design. Roberta decided to get involved when she didn't like what I was producing. She didn't think it was up to her and my standards. Once she got involved we threw away 99% of what I'd done and stepped up the effort dramatically. The result is Colossal Cave done better than anyone could have imagined. We're trying to decide what we'll do next and you can have no doubt -- it will be something original.

I can answer that. If you get a chance, watch the video in VR .. you can drag the camera around directly on KZbin . .but that's not nearly as exciting as seeing it in true VR.

​@@GenMaster Part of the fun is playing the game to find out. I'm a magical and mysterious cave adventure filled with secrets and treasures. The plot is one of the secrets. That said, Colossal Cave is the first, best known adventure game, originally a text-adventure written by an amateur spelunker and the guy that wrote the packet switching code for what would later become the internet. After a divorce, he wrote the game as a bonding experience for him and his two young daughters. In the mid-70's, the game "went viral" across the ARPANET, causing whole university and government departments to shut down for weeks at a time, as everyone was so busy trying to determine how to catch the bird! This game has inspired countless other games, books, and movies. This version is a VR Remake with graphics, music, and narration, but is very faithful to the original game design. It was re-imagined by famed game designer Roberta Williams, who was so inspired by the game in 1979, she wrote and released the first graphic adventure game "Mystery House" in 1980, then went on to have an incredible career creating such classics as the King's Quest series and Phantasmagoria.
