Well, if you have a system that can play it, the base game and first expansion are free now, and they're working to make early game dungeons playable alone if you don't like the mmo aspect, though that's a running process and they're still working on it.

@@jollygreenbird6354 It's all playable with NPC's now. You have the option to go through the vast majority of the game solo, with the exceptions of "trials" (but they aren't that common). FFXIV can pretty much be played as a singleplayer game now if one wants to play it that way

the sad thing about The Ewer Brimmeth is that once you hear the lyrics to Flow, it no longer has that mystery to it that it did when you first arrive in Sharlayan I miss wondering what it meant, what it used to feel when I heard it in instrumentals only
