Saw Colosseum at the Big Apple Club , Brighton , England in '71 where some of the double album " Colosseum live " was recorded . Clem,s extended solo on " Lost Angeles " remains to this day one of my all time favourite guitar solos . Dave Greenslade and Dick Heckstall Smith were pretty damned impressive too . A great gig from a great band .

If you compare this edition of "Skelington" with the one included in the double LP "Live" released in March 1971, the degree of perfection reached by the "band" certainly does not go unnoticed. "Colosseum Live" swan song (March 1971), concluded the short experience of this formidable, glorious British "band"

I didn't discover him until he was gone. Ginger Baker, who's he? Hiseman plays patterns and fills I could never learn.

I hate who directed, who filmed, who edited...this video. It's disrespectful what they did to Clem Clempson. Besides the irritation it caused me to keep hoping they would show Clem soloing.

Dave "Clem" Clempson's guitar went out of tune around 4:40 to 4:45. Dang!!!
