Oh thank you. I find fine tips are easier to control the spreading as you can get close enough to the line with still leaving a slight gap to give it room to spread. 🤗

I use a plastic report cover for a marker barrier. I actually use them for all my backing pages. You can get them at your local copy/printing shop for a couple of dollars.. they use them for the front of bound reports etc. They are simple to cut to size so I have one for each size book I have, that way they fit neatly and don't flop out around the edges. They are waterproof and easily cleaned and reused. I've also seen people use page protectors, the kind you use in a three ring binder.

Thank you for doing a page from this book! I really love Mr Fogherty! Problem: I don’t own markers for basing is there some other way to do this? Could I just follow pencils colors without using any base? Would it come out as well?

You can definitely do this just with pencils, you may need more colours than what I used. If you have a look at my prisms combo videos you will find some that match perfectly ❤️

Beautiful, like all your pages. I love Hampson's pictures but the paper is terrible. I wonder if the hard back books are better than the soft cover. I don't know which you used here.

This was in the soft cover books, I haven't tried the hard cover books yet. I think i saw somewhere that he was doing a special book on premium paper. I'm not sure if it's a compilation or like an artists edition of an existing book 😁

Beautiful! Love how vibrant it is. I never thought pencils could be used over pens! I was going to purchase tombow markers would they bleed through the page at all?

I just checked my book and they did bleed through. I haven't had any issues on better quality paper though.

It is perfection! When you use a pencil on top of the marker,to add color, delta, etc, is the area wet from the marker? Or are these marker’s really compatible with color pencils?

The marker is dry when I add the pencil on top, they actually dry super quick which is one reason why you need to work quickly with the basing 🤗

Hi Karen - how do you like the Spectrum Noir markers? I’m trying to decide if I should get these or the Ohuhu.

Both are great! The Ohuhu are a bit more affordable, but if you go with Ohuhu’s I’d recommend choosing the fine tip and brush markers. I much prefer a fine tip. Mine are brush and chisel, I rarely use the chisel end 😁
