Thank you so much. You can colour it without the basing and the results will be close. I just use the basing as it reduces my time burnishing 😁

Is the purpose of basing out with another medium to prevent using up all your pencils? Or is there another reason for doing it?

Do you always start off with watercolours in the romantic country books. I'm really struggling using just pencils. Does a water base help?

I don’t always, but it does help with the big spaces so it doesn’t take up too much of my pencils 😁

Hi! This is my first time using my inktense. Does anyone know why I'm unable to lay down the Prismas after activating the inktense? It's acting almost as though there's no tooth left. Did I lay the inktense down too thick or maybe use too much water? Does anyone else experience this? Thanks!

Ohhh this paper is painful for prismas. I regretted my decision immediately lol I prefer Polychromos on this paper. The paper isn’t great, it’s not you at all 😁
