Hi hun, I do this for a couple of reasons. First I find I get a smoother finish, when I don’t put the pencil underneath it can look streaky. Also, I find I am using less product as the posca sits on top of the wax pencil instead of losing absorption into the paper (even though it doesn’t bleed through) 😁
